Dr. Hunter happily returned to practice in Saskatchewan and settled in Tisdale where she enjoys full-scope optometry from children’s vision care, senior care and ocular disease management. She currently serves her profession as a councilor for the Saskatchewan Association of Optometrists and is actively involved at the local level, serving on Tisdale community boards and volunteer projects.

In her spare time, Dr. Hunter enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her three children Matt, Dawn and Gage. Her hobbies include hockey, golf, fishing, photography and travelling. Dr. Hunter gladly welcomes new patients and she looks forward to serving the people of the northeast area for many years to come.

I've been a patient/client with Tisdale Eye Care since 1994, and have always been treated well. Good service.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. They were well informed on there products and able to help my many needs. They have a wide selection of frames and lenses to choose from at a wide variety of great prices. I can’t wait to go back for my annual checkup!

Wearing glasses for 29 years, I have had many eye exams and this last one was rushed, with a good deal of the exam not performed as usual. I was seen for 10 minutes and charged $110. Now I have to get the left lens corrected because the prescription is off. My aunt has gone here for over 30 years and recently quit going because of the same reason, halfheartedness..I feel like they don't try as hard in small towns because there is a lack of competition. Dr. Hunter didn't bother to tell me if my eyes had changed or not. You have to ask...never again.

You can't even order contact lenses from this place, only if you submit to a forced eye exam!! So not only do you have to pay a good deal more for your lenses then you would online, you also have to pay for an eye exam you don't need or want!! A very obvious money grab!! More than dissatisfied, will never be using this place again. Thanks for the reply but may I offer a bit of advice to help with the poor reviews. My suggestion is to focus on making your customers comfortable and happy and let adults decide what they require.
