History
St. Albert Tirecraft has been in business since 1988. When the shop first started up, it was called Town and Country Tire and Auto, when it was located in the Grandin mall. They have since been in their present location since 1990.
The current owner and manager Pete Finstad began managing the shop in 1992 and then became the soul owner of it in 2008. All of the service technicians at Tirecraft St. Albert were born and raised in St. Albert, so this shop brings in the small-town community feel that St. Albert residents love. Coming into St. Albert Tirecraft feels like going to your uncle’s house for a visit.

Went to get an oil change here about a month ago. As a young woman, they saw me coming and decided to inform me about my "dangerously low brake pads at 1mm left" that required an immediate $400 repair. This did not sound quite right to me. I had a family member check my brake pads a week later only to find that I have 70% left on them. There is absolutely no repair needed on my brake pads.
The staff at Tirecraft tried to rip me off and take advantage of me.
I would not recommend this shop to anyone, they are not to be trusted with your time & money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a customer of Pete and Don for about 25 years with intermittent periods of not seeing them because service restrictions imposed by Mercedes. My daughters are now grown and take their cars - usually for emergency situations. I can always rely on the recommendations, pricing and quality of their work. Would recommend this shop 10/10 thanks guys!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 stars for price but not happy with alignment.
Upon calling for quote on front end alignment I had asked if they do spec printouts. I was told they do so I booked a appointment. When I went to go pick up my vehicle I asked for the printout and was told I needed to mention it when I dropped off the vehicle and they didnt have one for me.......
I truly dont have any confidence the alignment was done properly as I have a wander and the nut for the tie rod adjuster clamp wasn't even moved on new parts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not happy at all with the service. Would never recommend them to anyone. Dropped off my vehicle to be assessed. Got a call one hr later that it would cost me too much to fix. They said they rotated my front tires but they just switched the caps. They said the back door was fixed/working but it wasn't. Called the owner out to look at it....he knew I busted them on a lie. He called me a few hrs later saying that it would be $475.00 just for a part plus labor $125.00 per hr. Never taking my vehicle to them again. It's like they didnt even want to fix my suv....lol Oh and I was charged $135.00 for pretty much nothing lol.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was raining and my wipers weren't working so I called to book an appointment. They offered to help right away, fixed the problem immediately and didn't even charge me??! While I waited in the service room, I also overheard one of the men explaining the safety inspection that was done on an older lady's vehicle. She was worried because she didn't have money to make all the repairs immediately, and he was reassuring her that her car was safe and helped her understand the details of the report. 10/10 would recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing. We have been going there regularly for years based on a recommendation, and we would have continued. However, I have noticed that we have been getting nickel and dimed recently. Went in for a tire change, and without asking us our cabin filters were changed and we were charged $40.00, but we had just had our car in for a windshield repair at Speedy Glass less than 30 days ago and they had changed it there...and we don't drive anywhere so it seems unlikely we needed a new filter. Then we were charged for windshield fluid which we didn't need, already have and only pay $4.00 for.....not $24.00 for a partial fill. Some other Mechanical Shop Supplies charge which seems like a bogus area to bury other inflated items up....too bad.
