Timber Wolf Lodge covers everything you would want to fish for. There is excellent smallmouth fishing on Winkle Lake were the resort is located. Timber Wolf Lodge is also a base camp for the several surrounding lakes within a 20-minute drive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been going to Timberwolf Lodge for 30 years. There is great fishing on Winkle and on several lakes surrounding the area. I've seen 3 different owners go through this resort and the new owners as of last year are making great improvements and working hard to better your stay and your experience. We had several unfortunate issues with our boats and trucks this year and the owners were very helpful to get things back in working order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped by for the first time August 2018. What a pleasant surprise. Winkle a good bass lake and got some big pike trolling the smelt bait balls in the evening. There are some great walleye n Muskie lakes nearby for day trips. The owners treat you like family. Looking forward to 2019 trip.
