There was no one at all at the crossing except us. The whole procedure took about three minutes. But be careful, the transition is not round-the-clock.

C	Cathy Lidster on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The border patrol officer on duty aug 12 2020 was extremely rude and disrespectful. He used intimidation and harrassment to try and make me feel like a criminal. I cross the border many times a year every year, as I am a dual citizen and I have never been treated so offensively.. This same officer attempted 3 weeks earlier to stop me from entering the U.S. - an unprecedented action. It was obvious that from his viewpoint I had no right to travel across the border into the states to visit my own children and grandchildren. Yet the U.S. at this point has no restriction on me entering. I was welcomed respectfully by the U.S. guards. I understand this is a difficult and fearful time for many of us. But it does not excuse using the power of government to intimidate and harass. I have complied with all requirements and laws, mandatory and voluntary, re CoVid19 and so has my family in the states. No one deserves to be treated like that and for the first time I was ashamed to be a Canadian. Very disappointing.
