Beautiful scenery. Don and Brenda were very accommodating. We didn't stay at the resort or their cabins, but they helped with licenses and bait we needed. A bit of a drive to get to, but worth it.

The cabin was ok and the view was amazing, but had a Terrible experience with the male owner the moment we got there. He was rude to my aunt by commenting on how many "stupid emails" she was sending him regarding the cabins, when walking out of the main lodge he noticed my 11 year old cousin backing away from his dog and said "what, you don't like dogs" which my cousin replied "I'm allergic" and he said "you should have stayed in the car then" We rented out cabin 5 which is right beside the lake, the kids were tossing rocks into the lake having a great time, until the owners dog showed up onto our site and started chasing the rocks the kids were throwing in the lake, the owner must have been watching the kids, he pulled up instantly and told my kids to stop throwing rocks at his dog(which they werent, they were tossing them over into the lake) and if he sees them do it again he is going to break their arms. He tried to justify his threat by saying thats how they do it up north and thats how he talks to his nephews. I feel bad for that man's family. My kids felt scared and didn't want to be there anymore and were worried about seeing him the rest of the weekend. Just a heads up to anyone, his dogs are free to roam anywhere, and will come and beg for food when having dinner. There's many other cabins out there that are nicer, we will not return here.

Nice place on beautiful lake. Staff was helpful and friendly. Main cabins were modern and very nice, remote cabins are pretty basic, but they are remote cabins. Price was very fair. My family has been going here for several years, most of the customers seem to come back year after year. They do have several dogs, cats and even horses that wander freely around. This didn't bother me but I can see that it would bother some. There were also plenty of droppings from the animals as well. It's a nice place but is nothing fancy, but I think their rates reflect that.

We arrived the Wednesday before Labor Day & had some difficulty getting into Canada. After crossing the border we called Don (the male owner) up at Hyatt's and explained our situation. We knew we wouldn't get out to Mount Lake cabins that night, so Don set us up in one of his cabins that wasn't quite ready for guests. They assured us the cabin would be ready and it was. They were so accommodating, understanding & hospitable. After a few days of abundant fishing, my brother needed some more pain medication for a broken tooth that Don happily boated out to us on Mount Lake. When that wasn't quite doing the trick we radioed the main lodge two days later to see if Don would be willing to portage him out at an unscheduled time so my brother could get medial attention. Don happily obliged without hesitation. The cabins were rustically beautiful. The screened in porch was where we spent most of our time when not on the lakes. We had wonderful views and good times well cherished. The fishing...Wow...we caught everything from Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Lake trout. It's a time I'll always remember. Memories make us rich.
