★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finding a counsellor can be a challenge. Thrive & particularly Meagan, has taken the anxiety and intimidation out of being able to accomplish this task. They are there to completely support your needs & goals, whatever they may be, without judgement of any kind. The ongoing tools & skills that they give you in between sessions to manage life have been invaluable to me. They encourage my progress & growth as an evolving human everyday. The positivity, nurturing & strength I have received as well as learning of self care, have helped develop my way of thinking into a better way of life for me. I would highly recommend that you check out Thrive Counselling and Evoke Wellness to see if they are a right fit for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As someone who had never experienced counselling, when I signed up, my expectations were neither high now low, though I was really nervous. I’m nervous even when I meet new people, so to meet somebody with plans to become personal with them was totally nerve racking. I was worried how a professional and personal relationship could work, would it feel forced? I had a lot of qualms. I didn’t feel like I had a good enough reason to go, and I almost didn’t. But I’m so grateful that I did.
Mostly my idea of counselling was depictions in movies; boring wall art, a couch to lay, a box of tissues, a man and a pad. My expectations were surpassed for the first time as I entered the bright, naturally lit room that was my councillors office. And my nerves were instantly satiated when I met my councillor, Meagan.
Someone who is so very easy to connect with, gentle- I never feel forced or prodded; she’s kind, caring and compassionate. Always leave feeling really grateful for all the ways she helps. 10/10 would recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meagan is a wonderful counsellor. She is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about her work. If you are looking to tackle and issue, I would highly recommend her. For me it was dealing with anxiety and depression. She makes it easy to open up and offers helpful solutions to problems you may be having. She is very easy to talk to, listens and provides realistic solutions for tackling your dilemmas. She has helped me in so many ways! Thank you Meagan!

She gives me the space and the tools to sort out what I'm feeling, and listens with an open head and heart. I look forward to my appointments.
