We had a shipment scheduled and it never showed up. Called around and sadly missed the time to call before they closed for the weekend. We were gonna have 4 guys on downtime for the weekend. They pulled through and we were able to pick it up ourselves so we can keep going. We've received shipments before from them and they were always great. Thanks guys for pulling through

Can't read emails, if you have more than one sentence it seems they can't process it and will do whatever they want and then blame you for it. Not sure what's happened here as this company used to be good years ago

It’s amazing how incompetent and lazy your drivers are. Get out of the vehicle and deliver the freaking package. Is it that hard to actually do your job ?

From the admin team who take the orders, the dispatch and the drivers, Number 8 Freight is always extremely reliable. These past 3 weeks with Flooding, they have made every effort to accommodate our requests and have made all deliveries on time. Thank you!

Horrible customer service. They also have a very difficult Digital Waybill, the one they had a couple years ago was very easy and simple to use. Ended up going somewhere else and have no regrets about that decision.

This company is beyond a joke. Im a very reasonable person and always call in the day before and pay way before any invoice is due and 3 days later they still cant pick up my stuff and get told by this Haggard lady that you might as well go with someone else. I use pheonix and they will have 5 trucks here and have the freight dropped off before close for less money. This is also a message to the mullen group. We deal with some of the biggest companies in construction and all the biggest companies in concrete precast and this really was a test to see if #8 would cut it for these gigantic LNG contracts as well as other infrastructure projects we supply directly too and the companies that manufacture everything. They are a 0 out of 10 and it is despicable when they say every company is having the same problems . Nope just you guys and the Mullen group are. Id take a long hard look at your operations and who you have handling things.

Have been using their service for 2 years and never had an issue until now. The finish time was 3:40 but the driver wrote down 3:50 instead. When we asked him about it he said that the field is for record keeping purpose and does not concern us. We specifically asked if we would be charged for this extra time but he said we won’t. So we didn’t insist on correcting it. However, when we received the invoice, there was an extra charge of $25 for waiting time. Then we were told it’s because our unloading time exceeded the 15mins free time so we got charged $1 per minute. We have never been charged for wait time in the past years so this is likely something new. It’s understandable as long as now we are aware of it. However, when we tried to make them aware of the driver’s unacceptable behavior(lying about the time and lying to our face about the fact that we need to pay extra), to our surprise, they did not care at all. Their original words from the custom service were β€œdon’t believe what the driver tells you and we don’t care what they said. We only look at the POD”. $25 is not a big deal but the way they handled the situation is just unacceptable. Telling their customers to not trust a word from their employees?! We were too naive to think that No. 8 would care to come up with a mechanism to regulate the drivers. They simply just don’t care. Based on their reaction they were not surprised about the drivers behavior either. Extremely disappointed.
