★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Sushi can be found at the Parksville Thrifty Foods. Very pleasant sushi chef will explain what is available and make sure that you get your favorite sushi fresh and tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had Shandell from the florist department at Thrifty foods do the flowers for our wedding. She was wonderful to work with and the quality of the flowers are amazing. A week later and I could still use my bouquet!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thriftys used to be my favorite grocery store but not anymore! Today was the last straw! The last few times I've been there, so many shelves were empty and they no longer have the nicest produce. Along with that, they are now carrying more and more Compliments brands instead of the regular name brands. Very disappointed. I need to find a new favorite grocery store ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This grocery store is a great place to shop, employees very friendly, place is always busy , but hardly a wait in line, the atmosphere is always so positive it instantly puts you in a good mood. Produce is always fresh and alot of good deals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After paying I was followed by an unidentified individual while I made my way to the bathroom in the store. This individual without announcing who they were went right into questioning that I take to long to select a product and therefore must be a shoplifter. After a lengthy intrusive conversation about why I take so long I was asked to empty my pockets to which they found I had nothing, this person had profiled me based on my age I assume? I have no idea but it got worse, I had to use the washroom for about 15+minutes now so to say the least I had to go fairly bad. I went to finally use the bathroom and was told I needed to leave to store and would be escorted out. I was so embarrassed at this as everyone was watching me be escorted out...a paying customer...being escorted out for wanting to use the public bathroom.
Don't SHOP HERE YOU WILL BE HARASSED BY POORLY TRAINED "FLOOR WALKERS OR SECURITY I STILL DONT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE
