★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great store and excellent customer service! Jacob is both knowledgeable and helpful. Lot's of instruments and killer guitar section. If you into music this is the place. They sell everything from guitars, basses, drums, keyboards, PA & Recording, Band & Orchestra instruments and also service musical instruments of all kinds. They can also hook you up with music lessons! - I know this place has been around for a while but I just checked their website and it says since 1964!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The experience here was wonderful, I went in not knowing much about what guitar I wanted and I had a price in mind, one of the gentlemen helped me pick the right guitar for me and showed me guitars with in my budget and excellent quality ones as well. They are very friendly and they have a wide variety of items in their shop. Will be going back for more accessories when I can! :).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely would not recommend, took my guitar in to get set up and restrung which as far as I know shouldn't take more than 2 hours. Waited 9 days to get it back. Then took it home and when I went to tune it the second I touched a knob the 6th string broke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this store, it's a really nice pleasing layout with a very nice acoustic selection, and friendly staff. My only complaint is that the electric guitar selection is a little bit lacking, only really have Godins which I'm not a fan of ?

Will be my first point of contact for any future music related purchases, or issues that I can't remedy myself.
Would highly recommend this store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought an 1958 Martin guitar into Thorold Music be looked at. Leo took the time to explain the different issues with it, and what needed to be done. I’m not super knowledgeable about guitars, but I was treated honestly and respectfully. I wasn’t at all oversold on anything, and the price was reasonable. Leo brought it back to playing condition and did a top notch professional job... St. Catharines is lucky to have such a great music store.
