β β β β β Always friendly and helpful staff. Best place to recycle plastic bags, styrofoam food containers, and just about anything else except hazardous waste. They even take donations of good condition household goods.

β β β β β Take metal, cardboard, plastic and white styrofoam. They also sell replacement green and blue bins you can exchange up to 3 damaged Markham ones for a flat fee of 5.50. They have summer and winter operating hours. So keep that in mind when going.

β β β β β Terrible hours, especially for people who work a M-F, 9-5 job. I can't begin to count the number of times we have gone here only to find it's closed. According to the website there is no day they are open continuously without closing for a while and they are closed on Friday, Sunday, and Mondays and close early on Saturdays at 4. I would think these are the most popular times for people to drop off waste materials. I would give one star, but the staff at least are pleasant.

β β β β β Easy dropoff. They have 2 lanes for cars to drive up. You park and get out to drop off your assorted recyclables into the designated bins/bags and that's it! Fast and easy. Much appreciated.
