Very very expensive for the winter storage, like double the price. I have paid 1500$ to have the boat stored outside! Other marinas are half the price for inside storage! And they don t even tell you that at the begining. When you re there to take the boat, you receive a nice bill.

We purchased a used Princecraft 21 Pontoon with a 115HP Mercury outboard. The boat was immaculate on the outside was thoroughly cleaned and the delivery and explanation was good. Staff were generally very nice. The staff in their in-showroom store were excellent. However... When we signed the contract for the boat we were told it had "around 100 hours on it". Then when we picked it up, we were told it was "around 250". Not a huge amount for a 115 but still more than double what we were told. The day we put the boat in the water (150km away), we immediately had issues with the motor. The prop would 'lose grip' on the water anywhere past 25% throttle. We were told for any service we'd need to bring it back to Thomas Marine when we were told during purchase that we could bring the boat to any authorized Mercury dealer. We brought the boat into a local marina and the technician knew exactly what the issue was with this model motor. Fixed it within a couple of hours but it was absolutely clear that the motor had not been serviced. The propeller wasn't properly installed and the washer (a $5 part) that prevents exhaust from building up in front of the propeller wasn't even installed. Lastly, there was a mix-up with our financing so the finance person called me to inform me that the additional warranty that was offered to us would no longer be respected giving us no extended warranty nor would we have the 2019 season warranty the sales person had offered. He spoke to me like I'd done something to hurt him personally. He was very upset. I don't know exactly why but I assume there was lost commission. I would have followed up on this more but realizing the 'warranty' wasn't helpful to me anyway I didn't pursue it.

Princecraft Thomas Marine has been taking care of my boat for ><15 years. I find the service to be dependable and organized. I refit the boat, 1993, 164 Springbok Pro Series from stem to stern. The boat was completely stripped down, right to the hull and refit, including, new air bladders, that prevent a boat from sinking, spray foam, decking, vinyl flooring, not carpeting, full paint job, new seats, washdown, bilge pumps, batteries, this year a new top cover. As Montreal's Home Inspector, Robert Young Montreal Home Inspection Services Inc, the devil is in the detail. Could not be more pleased! As for winter storage. Hands down the best rates, all things being equal, and best service. Great service. Ask for Eric.
