You can really tell that these animals are taken care of. My children absolutely enjoyed their experience here. And, instructions and information given were very well instructed for visitors. The Guinea pigs, wallabees, chicks, baby goats and the goose were our favorites! Will definitely come and visit this place again! Thank you Thistle Hill Farm petting zoo for the wonderful experience!

Highlights include styling a pony with some hair bows, pony rides, feeding the bunnies some carrots, tractor trailer ride and the warmth of Farmer Al and Farmer Carol! 10/10 would recommend, and 100% will be back!!

Farmer Al, his wife Farmer Carol and their daughter were all VERY friendly and taught us a lot about the animals and the farm. We loved interacting with the many different animals and my sons especially enjoyed the pony ride, grooming and taking a pony for a walk, and the wagon ride. We highly recommend this petting zoo and look forward to our next visit. Thank you!

They will guide you all the way and give some helpful tips to approach animals. All animals we've seen so far was happy and well taken for. The experienced that my 4 year old son had was awesome. Me and wife enjoyed the animals and the place too. We will encourage some friends to visit this place and we are highly recommending this pet farm. Please support this local farm. Thank you so much!

Thistle Hill Farm Petting Zoo has a variety of petting stations, a tractor ride as you learn a little bit about the history and operations of the farm, and even a pony riding station. The animals were so friendly and even a few got really cuddly. I will definitely be going back.
S	Sparkling Ninja on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been meaning to take my sons for a petting zoo experience and I’ve come across Thistle Hill Farm online. When I found out that they were opening their farm up, I was very excited. They did not disappoint. We had a great time and the kids left with some good memories that they were still talking about in the car on the way back to Edmonton. The owner, “Farmer AL” was very accommodating and gracious, he explained things throughout. My kids were able to pet, feed and groom the animals. My sons were also able to ride the ponies, which were very friendly by the way. The tractor ride was a nice treat at the end. I would highly recommend a trip to his farm and we are definitely planning to visit again in the future. Oh and don’t forget to bring a hat and water bottle when you go.

Most of them were babies, and they are friendly. So children might feel more comfortable with them. Farmer Al was very kind and friendly! He knows all the farm animals name and does have a way with them. He explained the animal’s features and stories delightfully. We enjoyed all activities - petting and holding animal, feeding, walking and playing with them, riding a tractor. Amazing experience for all of us. Hoping visit again:) I highly recommend this wonderful farm!

My 4 year old daughter was able to have her very first pony ride ever multiple times which made her very happy! We didn’t feel rushed to leave at all and were able to stay as long as we liked. The experience from beginning to end was excellent and we will definitely be returning! I would rate this facility a FIVE STAR 100%.
