Came here June 2020 and the bridge is out so you can't walk the full trail. Don't try getting here without a 4X4 either. My Jeep Wrangler was ok but if you take Grey road by car you'll get stuck.

My son and I visited on Dec 19th. We were able to drive in carefully in a VW Passat right to the gate, which was locked and we walked in from there. We started down the left trail and sure enough, as indicated on the web page, the bridge was out. We did have a look at the downed tree just to the left but decided not to press our luck and headed back and took the right fork. Beautiful trail and well maintained. My son and I both loved it and will make it a regular on our hikes. Thank you for a wonderful place to walk.

I visited on December 13th and the trails are open but a couple things to note: Gray road is unmaintained and inaccessible by car in the winter months unless you have a 4x4. If not, you can park at the intersection and walk in, it's not far. The gate to the conservation area is closed in winter, but you can use the pedestrian entrance and walk in. Also, the bridge is still out. You can walk the whole trail but you would have to double back and go all the way around. Or if your feeling adventurous, there is a fallen tree about 20 feet East of the bridge that's easy to cross on. Otherwise a nice and peaceful place to walk around.

Beautiful walk, perfectly serene today walking in the first big snowfall! The trails are very well marked. Will definitely be coming back!

I visited at dusk before the sun went down. The trail markings on the blue pathway were inconsistent-bad and the boardwalk had rotted slats that were broken. There was a sign that said it was out of use, but someone took that down. Ended up walking through farmer fields to get back to the car.

I can admit I may have went into this trail a little unprepared. We had to improvise and cross over a fallen tree where the bridge was supposed to be, either way it was still quite the fun adventure. Gorgeous marsh area and lookout, definitely peaceful. Boardwalk was my favourite part.

Very nice hiking trail with long boardwalk section through marsh. Unfortunately the small bridge over one side of the creek is gone and has been under maintenance for sometime. So you are not able to do the complete loop around, and have to double back the way you came. Gray Rd. to the parking lot road is unassumed and very bumpy. Perfect score would be had with a new bridge and better access road maintenance.
