★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Wool and Silk Co. is a wonderful gem. The selection of yarns ranges from the workhorse Berroco Vintage to the exquisite Madtosh or Herriot.
If you are looking for notions or needles you will find a great selection as well as DMC floss for the stitchers in the crowd.
The staff are friendly and helpful and their Sit and Knit on Wednesday’s is a wonderful social occasion.
The Wool and Silk Co. is my go to LYS even though I live in Saskatchewan!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where to start! The Wool and Silk Co is a destination you can't miss if you're a knitter or a hooker and you're passing through Shelburne. Dianne, Leanne and Helen are experienced with helping people find what they're looking for whether it's a yarn or a project. They hold knit-alongs from 1-3pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays and these are always full and raucous. This is a wonderful and vibrant community place - you won't be disappointed if you stop in.
