★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is terrible for billing and receipts. First, their bills are inaccurate, causing insurance companies to reject them. Then when I ask for them to be corrected they say they will, yet weeks go by with no new receipt. Then when I follow up with an email, no one bothers to respond. Obviously they don't care that I owe my credit card company thousands of dollars yet can't get reimbursed because Wishing Star is dragging their feet with no sense of urgency.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve tried to contact these people multiple times to make an initial appointment and no one ever returns messages or emails. Pretty sad considering they were recommended to me by an adult psychiatrist stating that they were really good.

They’ve helped me advocate for my kids, trust my instincts, and parent from a place of being my best self. They steered us away from harmful parenting practices that never felt right to me. They don’t judge. They just help. They gave me the science to stand up to teachers and family who questioned my choices. Whatever you’re going through, they can help make it easier and better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The counsellor was good but the office staff is beyond frustrating to work with. Emails unreturned frequently but no online option to book appointments and no way to book directly with the counsellors. We are actively looking for another clinic with space and will move as soon as we find one. The lack of regard for our time is just not ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Wishing Star is essential place for mental and emotional health for all family members. Practitioners that we have worked with have been very helpful and are helping us to move forward from where we have been "stuck". They are helping us to make positive difference in our lives, and we feel very lucky and grateful to find them.
The reason we are giving 4 out of 5 stars is because they could benefit from improving on the appointment booking system. We noticed that since late October of 2021 it takes on the average of 2.5 - 3 weeks to make an appointment because they are delayed in responding appointment request email or drop communication in between finding a suitable date and time.
We wish the Wishing Star all the best and continued excellent work for the community!
