★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful sushi restaurant tucked away in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The owners and waitress are hospitable. Food is on the pricier end for dinner --- I usually come here for lunch when it's more reasonable.
Compared to other sushi restaurants nearby, I like Hi Sushi the best. The rolls are not too oily, and the tempura is fried nicely. Again, not oily so you can taste the individual flavors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After waiting 6 months or more unable to keep food in, living on a G Tube for feeding unsuccessfully i had been dreaming of sushi especially salmon with plain rice as very Stricker diet.
So pulled up to this place that only door to car service.
After getting back to my hospital bed and opening my package which by the way ordered the chicken i was so disappointed when i saw my rice was sushi rice, cold and sticky perfect for rolls not meant for regular steamed rice, the chicken was so tuff couldnt chew it , they forgot my cold noodle soup, prawns were raw.
So very disappointed and was to tired to call and complain .
In todays situation with so many shut downs one would get it right or loose business.
I lnow i wont ever go back after almost 30 plus dollars gone for nothing not even simple steamed rice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do NOT order online. It looks like Hi Susi but it is actually a chain restaurant and you're ordering from Ontario but it didn't say that on the site. I placed and paid for an order online, got notice it was ready for pickup do I went in and he had no clue about it so I had to reorder and wait 45 mins for my food. Luckily I found a number for the online ordering and called to get my money refunded
The food was pretty good though, just don't order online

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am not sure how this restaurant gets so many god reviews and doubt if people in the neighborhood are too nice or they are real people reviews, but I had the worst sushi ever!! Vancouver is known for having great sushi restaurants with affordable price and I am saying that as an Asian who have tried LOTs of restaurants. Decided to give this little place a try but both my son and I were so disappointed. The sushi rolls are tiny and with little fillings. The rice wasn’t fresh and with $30 order, I couldn’t even fill one little takeout box. Don’t go there! Waste of money.
