★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of trees for shade on a sunny day, leads to several different trails for hiking, biking, parts of trails transition from cement to dirt so not ideal for rollerblading/scootering

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small park with a paved trail that kind of winds around in a figure eight, the focal point of which, is a stormwater management pond. The middle part of the figure 8 is a quaint bridge over the storm water pond.
The water in the pond is very murky and apparently breeds a lot of mosquitoes. I have been there a few times now and can't get over how many mosquitoes swarm around us as we hike the trails.
There are some small gaggles of geese that have made this home, it appears that they are fed enough by hikers to become quite tame (we were able to walk to within three or four feet of them).
I would have been disappointed if I traveled far to get to this place, but if you are already in the area, and want to stretch your legs for a few minutes, this will fit the bill.

No public washrooms here.
The parking spots only on the streets around.
