★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rode into New Denver on a Saturday and were surprised they had basically rolled up the sidewalks. Luckily the restaurant at the Valhalla Inn was open and take out available. The happy and friendly lady was a real gem. We enjoyed our delicious lunch at a picnic table in the park. It made for a wonderful day to enjoy some fresh air and mountain scenery.

the inn needs minor updates but the service you are given is 10/10.
They kept the kitchen open late for us and served great food.
Would be a solid 5/5 if the beds were newer and they had outlet inside bathroom or. a mirror in the bedroom
Would stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ride my Harley to New Denver every year and stay at the Valhalla Inn as a base. This family owned business makes you feel like family. The food is good, be sure to ask for the “other” menu, authentic home made Asian food. The rooms are basic and very clean. I keep coming back mostly because of the owners and staff. The town is quiet. The area is beautiful. If you ride a motorcycle, you must check this place out. Thank you Mark, Vicky, Maggie and the rest of the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge room, some updates. Lots of high way noise, but because I didn't realize my window was open. Not a great desk space for working on a computer, but if you just need a place to crash for the night out of the elements, it will do. I'm 5' 6" and had to crouch for the shower, but excellent water pressure. Not all rooms have this issue. Rustic feel. Staff was extremely accommodating - opened the kitchen an hour early for myself and a travel companion so we could have a warm meal before leaving.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, we did not have high hopes, but while old and dated, the hotel is clean, neat and safe. The family who runs the place are extremely friendly and do a really great job. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is old and quaint. It has some newer items like bedding, linen and furniture but in an old place. But the staff here are super friendly, helpful and make the place great. It is quiet and centrally located. I would definitely go back there.
