The Vacuum District - Calgary

I went here to get the Bona Vinyl floor mop, but after entering this shop I realized they offer complete cleaning and vacuum products. High quality products, great store environment and more than anything excellent customer service. I highly recommend this place for all vacuum needs.

I had issues with my VacuFlo, as the motor wouldn’t turn on. I thought it may be blocked, so took everything into The Vacuum District location. Sam assisted me and checked everything and it was working just fine there. He provided me with options to try at home and said they could come out and do a service call if that was necessary. I tried the options he told me and it worked! I surely appreciated their service and them not pushing to buy another motor, although, that was his last option. I have been using Vacuum District for over the past 2 years and the service is great and I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs service or a new Vacuum. I used to go to a location on McLeod and Southland and the service at The Vacuum District is by far more superior and they know their products they sell. Keep up the great work! Pat P

Hey, spending money on a new vacuum was admittedly not high on my priority list either! But listen, if you need to spend money on a vacuum, I certainly would recommend you do so with The Vacuum District. I sent a message through their online portal on a Sunday. My phone rang literally 2 minutes and 17 seconds later!! It was Wes and he was there answering my questions and telling me how important it would be to come down to their showroom so he could walk me through what would be the right choice for our house. For me it was all about pet hair and ease of cleaning and maintenance. I’m not going to make this review as long as a book so I will summarize. The experience was terrific…start to finish!! Now, granted I’m not at the “finish” yet as my definition of finish includes ongoing support which I have not yet had to access. But all indications are that these guys will stand behind the products they sell. Wes and his brother Sam (who did the install) were awesome to deal with. Save yourself some time and just go see them. I was going to put in here what the model was that I got…I don’t remember…I could go and get it to confirm but why? The unit I got was the best for us and Wes will point out what’s right for your place. Ours has a filtered canister that you only need to empty once every 10 months or so (beautiful). And the power head has a removal brush for getting the all the dog hair out (no more scissors - yep, beautiful again). Quick note on the installation - arrived on time, no hassles, walked us through the whole thing afterwards. Great, professional job done Sam!!! Goodbye to lugging that damn bulky Dyson all over the house and having to empty the canister about every 3 minutes. Thanks Wes and Sam - good to meet you guys and I appreciate the efforts!! Our central vac stopped working, so my husband went to the store to inquire about it. Wes provided him with step by step written instructions of how to troubleshoot the issue first, to see if it could be resolved to avoid a service call. We ended up having to replace it (it was 27 years old) and Sam did a great job installing it, and was very professional and informative. These brothers really know vacuums and are passionate about their work!

I found this place by accident as I was searching for Canadian wick diffuser refills and found they had some of the best choice of fragrances and prices. They also carry quality laundry care products and when I phoned to ask a question, the service was quick and happy. They shipped my order within an hour of my placing it. Terrific service.

We decided to replace our upright vacuum with a central vacuum, so I did some searching and ultimately gave Vacuum District a call. I had a very good conversation with Wes around all my requirements and he recommended that we purchase the Smart 650T central vacuum system. Wes was able to answer all my questions and made very solid recommendations. I proceeded to purchase the Smart 650T and the premium accessories package. I also opted to have Vacuum District professionally install the Smart 650T. Sam the vacuum installer showed up on time and proceeded to walk me through all the options available for setup. I opted to have the vacuum installed in the garage and to tie in our existing 3 outlets that our home builder roughed in. I also opted to install an additional outlet in the basement and a Vacpan in the kitchen. Sam took care of all the install and did a fantastic job. I am really picky about how things are installed in my house and I am a perfectionist. Sam’s work met all my high standards and I couldn’t have asked for a better install. Sam also installed an outlet in the garage for me at no additional charge and I opted to purchase a garage package as well so that I could have an economy hose and tools to clean the cars. We vacuumed our home for the first time with the new central vacuum yesterday and were very impressed by the quality of the clean and the quality of all the premium attachments we purchased. I would 100% recommend purchasing and installing your central vacuum with Vacuum District and all my future vacuum business will go to Vacuum District. Thank you again Wes for spending a bunch of time with me to understand my needs and a big thank you to Sam for such a professional and detail orientated install, also thanks for taking the time to give us a run through of all or new equipment and showing my wife and I how to use everything.
