I got my maple syrup! I forgot the fellas name very nice, got it shipped to me very very quick and I'm way in Florida. I really want a beaver tale and maple bun. I may have to make a trip up there, I haven't explored the extreme north west yet, and I'm all about off the beaten path trips.

About a year ago I took a trip with my dad to our cabin at Deka Lake. On the way he told me about this amazing place with delicious poutine. I kind of just brushed it off “ yea right amazing ?”. So to prove me wrong we stopped by. And WOW (yes with a capital WOW) I was amazed. Not just with food, but the people who work there, with the atmosphere as well. Now two weeks after that I begged him to stop by again. Now this time, the ladies who work there, made us two delicious sandwiches for the road back to Vancouver. Here we are at our cabin yet again, and I am so so happy that you are open again! See you again in a few days! Thank you for being awesome and for making the best food not just in BC but probably THE BEST FOOD IN CANADA ❤️

Superb, really does live up to the title "the best poutine west of Montreal" i ordered the double order smoked meat poutine, and my group ordered the breakfast special, with pancakes, and one with French toast. Both breakfasts looked quite tasty, and I sampled the pancakes, very tasty. A nice new treat for me was the coffee, with the addition of maple syrup I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast or lunch if your staying in the area. Oh the sugar shack doesn't accept debit, only credit card and cash, Visa debit isn't accepted either.

A Quebec type experience in a BC town around 70 Mile House. Delicious food and a container of their amazing maple butter spread for a continued experience at home. You really get treated like a friend when you visit.

Absolutely amazing Smoked Montreal Meat and Poutine. It was our first time stopping here but won't be our last.

We came by for dinner while we were staying at a cabin on Green Lake and it is the highlight of the trip! The owner is absolutely lovely (as is everyone else there), and the food is DELICIOUS! The poutine was one of the best I've had, excellent fries and the yummiest peppercorn gravy. The smoked meat sandwich was equally great, super tender and flavorful meat and the bread - while not the star of the show - made for a perfect sandwich! To top it all off we had a beaver tail smothered in maple butter, the best end to the meal! For two of us an order of poutine, a smoked meat sandwich, and beaver tail was PLENTY of food, left very full and very happy. Thank you so much!!!.

YOU MUST STOP BY HERE! The owner is a delightful frenchie and the food is so delicious. Bring your appetite however, cause you get a generous portion for your money. The smoked meat poutine was the highlight and the coffee is excellent. Whenever I pass through 70 mile I will always make a pilgrimage to this gem of a cafe. Never change, Sugar Shack!

Easily the best poutine in BC! Robert, the owner, is a great fella, super friendly, and he even let me practice my French! Robert, if you read this, you made the night of five guys from PEI! The food was excellent, and so was the conversation! 10/10 would come again!
