★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the most wonderful evening tonight. The chef's creations are imaginative and divine. From the short rib (buttery soft) with deep flavours, to the delicious Moroccan baked halibut to the perfectly cooked lamb served with the spiced sweet potatoes and fennel with maple tahini to the incredible vegetarian creation of the day... every morsel was a celebration. To top it off everyone serving us was friendly, warm and welcoming. 1890 has developed the recipe for eating excellence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoying a trip along the Laurentides we stopped for lunch here. The restaurant was lovely and the menu had a lot of options. I ordered the smoked salmon salad and it was really good. The portions were very generous. I'll likely be back if ever traveling that way again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and neat restaurant. The food was great. Instead of variety of menu they offer some descent menu of the day: dish of the chef, today's spaghetti and today’s fish. Fresh ingredients. Very friendly staff! :)
We ordered soup of the day, salad, spaghetti of the day, fish of the day. All the dishes were good. Especially the salmon was amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered food for new year it was excellent and well packed. We had tuna carpaccio, salmon tartare and octopus for starters and the braised beef couscous as main. They have also the best Challah ever on Fridays !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful restaurant and absolutely amazing service. We did our wedding here on a Saturday morning in March with brunch. The food was phenomenal, the service excellent and the atmosphere just beautiful. We were a group of eighteen people and a baby. The photos say it all!
