The lunch time selections are true treats for the palate. Choices from Risotto, salads, Duck, fish selections. ..for the price - quality match. ..simply amazing. We will go back time and time again. The owner host is engaging and the wait team are just so wonderful. Bravo!!!

I	Ilania Abileah on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the pearl of restaurants in the Laurentians. I have eaten at this restaurant quite a few times. Never been disappointed at this restaurant! The service is one of the most professional and efficient in my experience. This is good food that responds to my prime categories: Looks great on the plate, smells great and the taste ... heavenly. There are daily specials for lunch which are quite affordable, you can choose to have a soup or salad with a main dish, or include the desert for just a few more dollars. It would be a good idea to call and reserve a table. In the summer, they have ample space on the three-level terrace outside. In the winter it is a small intimate, pleasantly decorated place. The bread rolls arrive at your table warm, they are home-made. In fact everything is done by the chef in this place, and there are some surprises, compliments of the Chef. In my book - this is a place not to be missed. It is also located in the picturesque village of Val David bubbling with artists and artwork. Hope your visit will be enjoyable!
J	JPL on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really wanted to rate this 4 or 5 stars but the lack of expected top tier service knocks the rating down. Although our table of 4 was seated almost immediately we had to wait for menus, drink menus and water. The thing with the menu was that there was only 1 option for Valentines, and you could choose between the 3 or 5 course. We sat for the second sitting, but the staff kept walking past our table even though we wanted a drinks menu, water and some bread. We asked for bread but were told no, it comes with the meals. We waited longer to ask and order for some cocktails, but we could only order drinks after our food choices were selected. Bread was only offered when the 1st course was delivered, and then we only got 1 serving of bread. Food was of high quality, great presentation and wonderfully cooked. I didn't get much of the Valentines theme though. The duck was splendid, the dore (white fish) was very delicate, and the group said the salmon was perfect. I'll have to say the dessert option was a bit strange with the combination of green vegetables, spices and chocolate. The desert was the miss from the opinion of the group. For the price, it was a good experience food wise. We did not get the wine pairing, in our opinion was too expensive. Lastly, there was no English menu, so be prepared to use Google Translate to figure out what you'll be eating.
A	Amy W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very accommodating in terms of food substitutions and reservation time. Traffic made us late for our reservation. Apéritif was yummy. Most table seatings were outdoor, so be prepared for mosquitoes. Every dish in the tasting menu was brilliant. Great way to start of a weekend getaway! Will definitely be back and hopefully will be able to get the Kouign Amann.
