★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a big store with lots of well organized products. I always manage to find at least 1 or 2 treasures when I go, and if you sign up to their newsletter they let you know when all the sales are! They are following covid protocols well; have to wear a mask, changerooms closed etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whenever I go to a Salvation Army I’m reminded how popular Winnie the Pooh was for the coffee crowd in the 80s. I like to think the Folgers crowd and Pooh heads (sorry) have a big overlap.
It’s a big one for sure. Salvation Army and Value Village are so expensive in the Vancouver area. A couple of gems still. If you’re thinking about peelin’ a metric ton of apples or just nuts about being a server, this place is for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of stuff. They are nonprofit and should be that way in the States as well as Canada. Donated goods should not be priced so high. They have high pricing here and I was shocked when I checked out at the register for an IKEA pair of curtains that are priced $14.99 individually (each piece at $14.99). That would come out to be $30, which IKEA sells for $24.99. the lady at the register told me they are $14.99 each in which they were bundled and had only one price tag. I said no thanks and left. They don't run any color deals that I see here and are asking high prices. Parking can be a chore if you're driving here. $3.25 per hour. It's great if you're taking the bus or train. Not returning here. I would not recommend this Salvation Army.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I Have had both pleasant and unpleasant experiences at this store. While I really enjoy going and taking a look at what is it there is for I have found some real gems there. At the same time I have found I have been stereotyped and treated in my opinion rudely and unfairly by some of the staff. Several times I have been told I am not welcome there and at first I thought they had me confused for someone else. After speaking to manager 3 times and explaining that I don't shoplift and spend a lot of money there , finally they have stopped I think if you look a certain way or are a certain age they just assume the worst. The stores own security guard complained to me that they bar anyone and everyone whether or not they have done anything wrong solely based on their appearance, in other words they judge and sometimes make incorrect assumptions about people . I do love the store and I understand they have had a pretty bad problem with shoplifting so I try to not take it personally.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Much better than dropping off donations to value village. These folks share the profits with noble cause. I would definitely recommend this place for donations vs other places. You can leave the items (if not raining in the weather forecasts) outside of their door.
