J	Jon C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Rose is a fun, lively, smaller bar. Nice outdoor patio. Bar games inside. Cheap specials on food and drink. Don't expect anything fancy. Can be difficult to pin down service during busy times. Overall a good place to meet after work for a drink
E	Emma H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This pub is a hidden gem. It's a really nice place that is much bigger than it looks from the outside. It even has a covered patio looking over a garden. Great local beer selection, wonderful food and super staff! We'll be back!

The food was tasty and the beers went down nicely but what really impressed us the most was the warmth and sincerity in the service. Thank you to Hope and to Hollis (I believe that was you) for making us feel very welcome and we are grateful. Looking forward to our next visit!

Perhaps the kitchen was short-staffed? High prices ($18 for chicken tenders&fries!), but I think that's just the reality of dining out these days.

Food is a bit pricey but drinks are very reasonable in price! Patio is amazing, makes you feel like your at a friends barbecue! Inside definitely feels like a pub but super fun vibe as it’s a neighbourhood pub! Definitely recommend going with friends for the patio!
K	KC W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic local pub with upgraded food and service. It’s our new local and we highly recommend to every one. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious after the beef short rib sandwich. Fried are good, beer is great and service always comes with a smile.

Friday night at 6:30 it was a full house so we had a bit of a long wait but in the end we were seated and our drink orders were fulfilled promptly , followed by our food. I ordered the fish and chips and it was the best battered fish I have eaten in a long time…not to mention the delicious onion rings that my daughter ordered along with her famous Rose burger. All good, and we’ll be back every Friday!
