S	Sam Sharp on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying this place and I have never felt so unwanted as a customer. Stopped by here this evening with my dog for a beer to celebrate the end of a long week. Patio was busy, we waited patiently. The group in front of me had a dog and were sat no problem (middle of the patio and then was even allowed to move tables to a more desirable one). The “host” finally came over to see me, and told me it would be a bit because there were two groups inside waiting. I waited patiently for 20 more minutes. Two more tables got up to leave so we should have been next. She came over again to tell me I couldn’t have either and started making a bunch of new rules and excuses about where she was allowed to seat me with a dog (why did none of these rules apply to the group ahead?). Long and short, I’ve been a server for 20 years and I would never make someone feel that unwanted. My dog is well behaved and I was extremely polite and patient with this woman. Clearly she was hoping we’d just leave. All to say, I will not be returning. We frequent Local in Liberty Village often and they are INCREDIBLE. If you’re looking for a dog friendly patio DO NOT GO TO THE RHINO - VISIT LOCAL IN LIBERTY INSTEAD.
I	Ian March on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exactly what you'd want and expect from an unpretentious place that seems to be a favourite of locals. Good beer selection and my draft was cold and fresh. We both enjoyed our food and the service was excellent. It's the kind of the place that, based on first impressions, could go either way when you first walk in. Happy to say that it came out on top.
V	Vinique Emari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of vegan options and not just salad or Beyond Burger. They should add 2 more options and a dessert and then I can come here regularly ?. And the servers were amazing. No mistakes with my order. Food came quickly and they checked in frequently. I made a reservation and they called me to check in when I was running late rather than give my table away. Really appreciated that. Would totally recommend.

Drinks flowed very smoothly and service was attentive. I'd like to single out Justin for making our evening even better than it could have been. He ensured we were well taken care of and offered great suggestions throughout the night. Overall an excellent experience. The washrooms were also shockingly clean.

C	Chris Masucci on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great bar for groups. The beer selection is very good from very cheap common domestic beers to very expensive imports. A basic beer will cost you about $6.25 while an import can cost you over $10 a pint. It definitely has the Queen Street feel. My only issue is the friendliness of the staff. There is certain tolerance on Queen but unfortunately it felt like the staff was too busy or indifferent to cater to our needs most of the time. Overall, I would go back but the service could be better.

From the outside, it doesn't look like a lot; situated in the location of an old theatre, its charm is realized once you're inside. They have a fantastic selection of beers, with a small, but very good food menu. The staff were very attentive, polite, and ready to serve. We met here with a friend from years back, who had recommended the place, and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, with light music playing, so that you could have a conversation with your table, without straining to hear what everyone was saying. We had fish and chips (well done and very tasty), a Sweet potato and maple soup that was absolutely fantastic, and a curry dish that was delicious. They were very accommodating and allowed us the freedom to eat slowly and visit for three hours, without harassing us. We finished off our visit with a couple drinks and a shared cheesecake (which my two companions said was excellent). We will definitely eat here again.
