I had my hair cut by Angelina last week and had a 10/10 experience. It was my first visit to this salon and Ang had me laughing more than I did all week - I've never had that much fun having my hair cut! She confidently nailed the style I asked for after we went through Pinterest to pick out what I liked. Going back to work after the weekend I have had many compliments about my cut. Context: 29 y/o female, shoulder length hair.

I ended up getting a haircut and deep conditioning treatment. I didn’t notice until later that day after I left how uneven my haircut is and the ends of my hair are choppy looking rather then smooth. It’s very boxy haircut and I do not want to go back hence how uneven my hair is I measured how much longer one side is - about half an inch longer and you can visibly seen how the ends are choppy and uneven. Not happy and now I have to wait for it to grow out because I don’t want to cut it any shorter as I’ve always had long hair and needed a good trim. All I wanted was a one length in the back to clean up the ends and layers in the front but even the front is choppy layers.

I got my hair cut from Angelina, not only did she do an amazing job but she was a pleasure to spend a hour with. She listened to exactly what I wanted and I love the results. I have found my new hairdresser!

I have been growing out a rat tail since 2016, and it's super important to me - Franco knew that I didn't want any length off of it. He was doing the haircut very fast, and when he was shaving the back of my neck he accidentally got the razor caught in my tail, didn't turn off the machine and tried to take it out without me knowing. the next day when I unbraided it in the shower I discovered that about a quarter of my rat tail had been cut off, and I was devastated. I've never written a bad review on Google before, but this hair cut really affected me in a bad way. Also in general I wasn't happy with the cut either, it's pretty patchy and I'll attach a picture of my hairline - super uneven.

Horrible experience. Mid appointment the hairdresser had a meltdown and was visibly crying. Instead of excusing herself she continued to do my hair and cry. I understand people have bad days but this was incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional. I debated leaving before she would finish doing my hair as it was so awkward at this point. In addition, I came in for a trim but she took off 4+ inches so she definitely didn’t listen to the clients wishes. I told the lady at the front desk but she didn’t seem to care. It was my first and last time to this salon. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Great service Meghan really knew how to cut my curly hair and style it. I'm so happy with how it looked when I walked out. My hair feels revitalized. I will definitely be going back in the future!

I booked with Franco as I understand he has years of experience. I let him know that I rarely cut my hair but it had gotten so long it was matting and breaking; I asked him to trim three inches off the bottom, no layering, and not blunt ends. A modest trim with point-cut ends, right? It seemed like there was more talking than cutting but I trusted this person with years of experience and figured he must be a whiz. When he was finished I was whisked out of my chair; I did not have my glasses on so I could not see details of the cut, nor was I offered to view the back and sides with a mirror as is standard. I left with a feeling that my haircut might not be so good and when I got home and took off my toque and looked at it I was devastated. It seems like five or six inches were cut off, not three as requested, and the ends are unexplainable, not to mention there are shorter chunks gouged out. There is no rhyme or reason to it. When I showed my friends the result, these are some of the responses I got: What was he thinking? I don't even know how a professional could do that to your hair. Wow, guy didn't have a clue! When I'd recovered enough to talk, I called the salon and told Franco that the cut was not good. He asked what the problem was and I said the ends look like they were chewed off and there are different lengths with random chunks taken out. His response was that I said I wanted it uneven. What I actually said was, that I didn't want the ends blunt. How not blunt translates to uneven, I don't even know, and my ends ended up blunt anyway. Franco pointed out that he's been cutting hair longer than I've been alive and offered for me to come back the following week so he could have a look and fix the cut but I'm not giving him a second chance to do further damage. I was recently diagnosed with cancer and managed to save my hair from chemo but not from being butchered. I used a Groupon for this visit and left a generous tip. It seems both those things were a big mistake. I will never return to this salon. If you want an ebullient conversationalist, great, but if you want a haircut that won't leave you in tears I suggest you keep walking.
