★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't expect this store to be anywhere near comparable to the Newmarket store. It has a very small selection of fabric. I realize they haven't been open long, but I doubt there will be much more fabric as there isn't a lot of room to put it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Why did they take my order and credit card info when they had no intention of being there at the appointed pick up time? So much for supporting local business. I should have ordered from Amazon. In fact, I think I will. I hope the Quilt store is decent enough to offer me a refund.
edit: Marty called me back. It turns out that orders placed to the Burlington shop need to be picked up at the Newmarket store. Not exactly local. I hope they are more clear with future customers. That said, he was very apologetic and my order will be ready for pick up in Burlington on Tuesday. I'm somewhat satisfied, although if I had known the whole story at the beginning it would have saved me time and gas. Sigh

Next I will be shopping with them for sewing machine as every time - and I did many times over and over in person as well as over the phone inquiry about the machines- I got a very promt answer and advice. I wish, I went with them earlier buying my last sewing machine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting from the Maritimes and looking forward to my experience while visiting family here. Ontario just dropped the mask policy although this store decided to keep masks. I have no issue with this but staff was annoyed at me having no mask. I did not feel welcomed at all while browsing the store. I am a avid quilter or a fabric hoarder so you lose a sale.
