★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is not well made. Salad tasted like pre-made salad from Walmart. My burger was supposed to have “bacon jam” on it. It turned out to be sautéed onion in some sort of BBQ sauce. Couldn’t taste any bacon. Not quality ingredients. Service was almost non-existent. Pretty sure all the other reviewers are drunk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yea, I have no idea how this place has a 4.3 stars and I’m usually pretty happy with most pub food. The service was INCREDIBLY slow, even when the restaurant was less that 25% full. Food was ‘meh’ at best. Look elsewhere if you’re hungry from a day on the ski hill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little pub with snow themed decorations. The Sunday roast was incredible, even before you consider it was only $15. The English chap who served us (Nick I think his name was) was amazing, very friendly, good sense of humour and very accomodating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a 4 night stay in Fernie recently. First night there this place was recommended to us. Glad it was. The food was excellent. It was so good we wound up having supper there each of the 4 nights we were there. Servers were very friendly and worked hard to ensure everyone was attended to. Well done. If we go back through Fernie again, we will absolutely be stopping in again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Fernie mid January 2022 to ski. This restaurant was close to our hotel, so we decided to walk there for dinner yet didn’t expect much in such a small town. After passing dining requirements (well… omicron was ravaging Canada), we sit in and had probably one of the best meals during our 2 week ski trip in BC.
The people were friendly, Fernie Brewing selection was great. Our 11 year old companion very much loved the Steak & Red wine Pie (yeah, it’s steak in a pie ?). We all liked the Pub Wings and Fries. Went really well with the beers. I had the Blackened Steak Salad while my friend a Signature Burger. All came from high quality meat, greens, ingredients and was very well cooked. We ended the evening with a Mason Jar Cheesecake for the teenager. What a lovely way to the day and get ready for shredding next morning.
Will stop by here again when we come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a local and a big fan of the sweet potato burger! It is a great option for vegetarians and lactose sensitive people - you can always add on cheese if you want to. The patty is always crunchy and with all the toppings is so delicious. Thanks for thinking of the vegetarians :)
The fries here are also great. I love that there is also an option for gluten free bun, they really think about all food preferences/sensitivities.
Really easy to order take out and is usually ready within 30mins for pick up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One evening on a weekend gonna be good there. Nice atmosphere with the hometown brewing beer which tastes really good. So you can't get wrong with this one. And also included in Bar is a billiard Pool. If you want to have a good moody evening. The service was also really kind and friendly. I can only recommend to try it by yourself. ?
