★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't normally write reviews, but unfortunately I have to for this past visit. My wife and I thought we'd give Port House a try the other day. Immediately there was no one to greet us at the front of the house, to which, once I located her, was informed there was a 15 min wait. No worries, we said we'll grab a drink at the bar. Nice service from the bartender who appeared to be the only person engaged with guests. After waiting another 15min, we asked if we could take one of the tables on the patio, as there were a few empty. The bartender complied by letting the front of the house know our intentions. When presented with menus, which arrived dirty, we began to scan our options. Lots of staff hanging out by the bar, or around the patio, but no greeting at our table as of yet. I understand that due to the past couple of years, restaurants have lost revenue, but at the prices (9.75/pint of Canadian beer) on the menu, you'd expect some keen service, even a 'sorry we're really busy, do you mind waiting'. Nothing again after another 15 min. We left. Went to one of our local restaurants, had awesome service and a great meal. With that, I hope Port House will take this as a learning curve to avoid another bad review.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A delightful experience to eat here. The servers were polite and quick. The view and lake breeze stupendous. The garlic shrimp au gratin were perfectly done and the buttery garlic sauce drooling ( need more shrimps in the dish). The garden salad had crisp greens and a nice tangy dressing. The calamari rings were crisp with capers and jalapeño peppers. The crispy fish tacos were superb with delicious guacamole and mango salsa. Deserving of many more visits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Server was realllly nice. The atmosphere is great. I had the mussels and they tasted nice - they even came with garlic bread. We also ordered the birria and jerk chicken tacos. Wasn’t that great, but wasn’t horrible. The drinks were beautiful and tasted nice too! I did see another table order the chicken sandwich and it looked really good, I would probably order that instead of the tacos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great view and descent food, this social bar and restaurant is right on lakeshore with a view of lake Ontario, a nice size patio and friendly staff. They have vegan and kid friendly options as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is great, the food was good nothing. I had the steak frites with parmesan fries. It was delicious. The white sangria was also very good.
My friends enjoyed this meals as well. The classic burger comes with fries. 1 person ordered the veggie burger and she didn't enjoy it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome location, with a view right by the lake and pier! Ambiance was so on theme and everything went together cohesively. Food was GREAT and servers were super sweet! Their fries were cooked to perfection, will definitely be returning once the weather gets warmer so we can sit on the outdoor patio!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great ambience, superb location. The restaurant is right at the waterfront. The menu is not quite extensive but has the staple bar food options. I ordered a veggie sandwich and Cajun fries. The food tasted good but the preparation time was long. Keep in mind, the parking is also paid. Overall I liked the whole vibe
