We are new to Vancouver and were looking to live in a brand new, trendy modern place in a decent neighbourhood . We drove around for days looking around. I saw an advertisement for The Point Langley . I called and spoke to Jerell and he sounded very professional n warm. So immediately we made an appointment for a condo tour. Little did we realize that The Point is located in the same neighborhood that we fell in love with when we drove past a few days ago. I suppose Jerell was the main reason why we signed our long term lease with Capreit. He was very kind, efficient, courteous and it was a pleasure to deal with him. Although he knew we were desperately looking for a decent modern trendy new place like The Point to live in, but he never put any undue pressure for us to agree to sign a lease unlike many sales personnel out there. He showed us around and explained everything that we need to know. After a little discussion with my husband, we IMMEDIATELY agreed to sign a long term lease with Capreit to live at The Point. Living here at The Point has been a pleasure because Jerell, his manager Andrew, his teammates Saed and the rest including the handymen team are great people to deal with. They always provide efficient customer service and go out of their way to attend to whatever little request we have, if any. Every request is attended to in a courteous and timely manner. Great team with a smile and they make living at The Point such a pleasure . We definitely made the right choice to live here. We like to say a big thank you to Jerell and his team.

The Point was an amazing place to live. Awesome staff that responded to promptly to any questions we had. If there was any problem in the unite they quickly responded with a technician to fix (not that there was anything to fix). Luckily my roommate and I were the first to rent our unite after the building was completed. Very Luxurious units and very affordable. I loved living there.

Had an appointment booked for 430 today. I drove 40 minutes to get to my appointment. When we got there they made us wait in the lobby for about 15 minutes. A lady came out to ask us if we had an appointment. I said yes she goes back into her office and comes back a while later questioning if i actually made an appointment. I mentioned the ladies name i had an appointment with and it was her. She then proceeded to tell me they rented all the rooms. Now on their website it says they area available and when you email them it sends an auto response letting people know they still have everything available to rent. If they are all rented why didnt you call anyone else who was left and cancel? ALSO UPDATE YOUR EMAIL AND WEBSITE!!! HOW RUDE!

Zero Star, Negative -5. Terrible experience last week with the girl who showed me the apartment. I responded to an ad on Zumper about a one bedroom at The Point. I called the number. As soon as she picked up the phone and noticed my accent(?) she paused for a second or two and changed her tone talking dry with a lot of hesitations long silent pauses and very short one two word responses. She said they had no one bedroom only two bedrooms available. I said fine I would go and see the two bedrooms now. After I asked her the address I told her I would be there in 20 minutes. She paused again and said: "uhm...we do not have any two bedrooms left in that building", only in the older "Meridian building" which is across from The Point. (She did not know that until now?) It was obvious she had changed her mind did not want me to see the newer unit they had in The Point. I decided to go check it out anyway. I buzzed the door a couple of times before she responded. She did not invite me in the office. She said she would come out. I waited about a few minutes in 43 degree heat outside for her to come out. She was with another nice young girl that she was training. (I hope that young girl isnโ€™t going to copy her mentor's unprofessionalism and manners). She was very impatient with my questions. I just did not like the way she would respond to my questions and her body language. After seeing the unit I asked her at some point if they had a similar unit on the top floor. She really didnโ€™t give me a straight response. When I asked her again she said in a frustrated tone: "You asked me that before". She just made me feel like she wanted me not to like the place. When we were done she did not invite me inside to give me an application. (Please don't tell me it was because of Covid precautions as I am aware you are now allowing other customers inside the office). Instead she verbalized a long URL to get the application online expecting me (not expecting me) to remember that. Terrible experience. If I were the owner of those buildings I would immediately replace her especially if you are aware she lied to me about what they had available.
