All were delicious, great flavour!
Decently priced for a good amount of meat ($40)
These were shared between three adults with leftovers
The Pit has up front parking that is wheelchair Accessible. There is a space to dine in or take out

I recommend anyone looking for a good place for BBQ to definitely give this place a shot.... quick service too... got my poutine the same time it took to fry up the fries.... well done and well proportioned for eat in couldn't finish the regular size in one sitting

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is AMAAAAZING. THEIR BBQ SAUCE IS 1000% DELICIOUS. The meat is cooked -perfectly- it's moist, flavourful and just so darn good.
I've been to several bbq places, and this is in my top 2. If anything, it's the top ?
Try the beans!!!! As well as the burnt ends.
Meat platter is worth it ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely best customer service in town paired with great food there is no way to go wrong. I have never been disappointed. If you are looking for a full meal this is the place to go. The poutine is great, and all the meat varieties are all fantastic. Always look forward to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic BBQ! Everything exceeded expectations… even the fries were fantastic. I had the brisket BBQ sandwich which was phenomenal - great sauce and slaw on top. Would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This food is AMAZING, wow. Just passing through town and grabbed some food for takeout. The brisket and pulled pork was so delicious and the serving of fries was good. But probably could have fed 3 people. The price seemed a little steep until I bit into the sandwich. I don’t mind paying that much when it’s that good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rarely write reviews but when I experience great service and amazing food I have to let people know. I am from Red Deer and only end up in Olds a few times a year. I am a huge foodie and have very high expectations when dining. The Pit is hidden away in a mini mall but don't let that deter you. When I walked in I was greeted like someone they have known for years! The young lady behind the till walked me through the menu and was very kind and informative. I ordered the brisket and I don't say this lightly, it was phenomenal! The cook on it was amazing and smoked to perfection! Top BBQ I have had in Alberta hands down. The owner was on the phone during my visit but held his call to thank me for coming in which I really appreciated. Hit this place up people, a hidden gem and worth at least an hour drive.
