★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m no pie connoisseur, but so far every pie Sweet or Savoury I’ve had from here has been delish. The staff in store at anew West are always so polite and happy to answer questions I actually leave there feeling appreciated. I will definitely say planning ahead is your best bet as popular pies are rarely in stock which as a spontaneous foodie can be disappointing but such is how the world works. Fresh pies available as well as frozen . It’s a bit of a $$$ expense but worth the treat once in a while

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beef Bourguignon - An excellent hearty pie, chunks of beef with the right amount of wine & spice. The crust is so flaky, it’s actually better than mine (gasp!). I initially bought 4 pies from a school fundraiser (chicken pot pie, blueberry goat cheese, raspberry cream, apple crumble). Opened an account and ordered the beef and 2 apple pies. We are customers for life now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time visiting the Burnaby location. I came early to be sure I'd get what I wanted (check the weekly menu!). Tried their hand pies for the first time, chicken pie for lunch, delicious. Writing this review ~ 5 days later, my mouth is watering. Excellent quality food. I also picked up the apple caramel crumble pie, also really good, but I think I'm more basic apple or berry crumble (personal preference). They have ice cream (1L) for one stop shopping.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve picked up pies here several times…the consistency could be better. I’ve had pies that wowed me, and on occasion I’ve been disappointed (even when ordering the same pie). It’s been mostly ok though. I do enjoy their savoury pies like the bacon cheeseburger pie. This last time I enjoyed their Earl Grey cream pie. Lots of choices so I guess you’re bound to try some you really like and some that you won’t. I’d likely keep trying them as they have interesting choices, and their boxes make me laugh!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pre-ordered the 9 piece valentine's mini pie pack and 3 of the pies were duplicated (so really there was only 6 flavours instead of 9). So unfortunate as my family was excited to try a larger variety...not to mention the menu outlined the flavours that should have been included and that added salt to the wound. Overall, pretty disappointed we weren't able to try all the flavours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here to pick up some pies for a dinner. This place was highly recommended so we drove out here just for the pies.
The pies were very good and we can see why they have been elevated to the pedestal by foodies in Vancouver. The crust is fantastic and flakey. A good pie crust is important to us and the Pie Hole rose to the challenge.
Deifnitely worth the drive to grab some pies here. You won't be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing sweet and savory pies here! Recently tried the Vietnamese Coffee Pie and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious coffee flavour. Couldn't resist the goodies sitting on the counter and got the butter pecan tart as well as the raspberry crumble cookie, did I say amazing?! Entrance and parking is from back alleyway.
