R	Ruth on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped by on Wednesday. Lots of people placing orders and picking up. They only take cash and etransfer. They’re open Four days a week. Wednesday to Saturday. . I ordered right off the menu. The veggie pizza. Takes about ten to fifteen minutes to make. We just ate outside on their picnic tables. It’s not fancy. The pie is cut in to quarters The pizza is smothered in oil and spice. You just pick it up and fold it. The crust is so tasty. It’s just really great pizza.

While The ovens pizza is certainly delicious, the entire pizza was just burnt and all you can taste is smoke/charcoal. I understand this can happen while using wood fire ovens, but it’s all about finding the perfect balance. Who wants to pay premium $ for a burnt pizza? I certainly don’t. Service was great on the + side. Thank you.

The pizza crust was burnt all around on my boyfriend's pizza which took away from the taste of the pizza (I've had woodfire pizza and I know this can happen so I didn't say anything). The male staff member was kind and helped answer our questions but the woman there was quite the opposite. Definitely left a negative impression. Probably won't be returning.
P	Patrick Cool on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When the resort we were staying at had no power and no water due to a wind storm but offered absolutely no help or remediation (e.g. water bottles), we by chance found this beauty of a place! Incredible staff and the pizza was absolutely amazing. It's a shame I don't live closer! Free of charge they handed us both a pie and banana bread loaf before we left! I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
S	Simon Leung on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very delicious! The Oven makes yummy pizzas that have a very thin bottom and crust made from chewy dough. Pictured here are the Valerie (with green arugula) and the Vegan. My wife is very particular on her food and is also a very good cook and she absolutely loved the Vegan. The pizzas are about medium in size so one person may eat anywhere from half to a whole. At $23 each, the pizzas are a splurge purchase. Presumably to cut down on overhead or other challenges/headaches with a point-of-sale machine, the business accepts cash or has you etransfer payment and relies on an honour system for you to pay. The kitchen is well run by friendly staff. The day we went, there was sourdough bread that our family of four devoured. Since The Oven is a popular place, order early and arrange for a later pick up time.
J	Jessica on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kind of off the beaten track but WELL worth it! A small, simple little shop that only does takeout but it is absolutely delicious. They also sell a few other bakery items which are to die for. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We bought two pizzas, it was super quick for a fresh pizza and they also gave us a free banana bread! So incredibly sweet of them and I think the banana bread was the best I have ever had too! Just of note: each pizza is around 25$, but they are well worth it. Also, they only take cash or e-transfer so just be prepared for that as well! HIGHLY recommend!
