For food, we ordered the beef brisket w/ Caesar Salad and Southern Chicken Sandwich w/ fries. Both sandwiches were good and enjoyed by the both of us but fries are best eaten right away as they aren't as good once they've sat for 15 minutes or more. Ordered the pretzels, and they were too crispy (was assured they are not usually like that). Maybe next time i will try them again

Our hostess & server were super friendly, they went over and above to make our experience exceptional. Our server gave us soup & beer samples before our meals; and I can see why, because we took soup to go on top of our meals! The portions were grand, the flavor was complete southern comfort with a flare, wow! RIBS & PULLED PORK WERE SMOKED TO PERFECTION! My review comes with a heavy recommendation to attend Bracebridge Barrelhouse, for a flight of brew & outstanding meal. I can't wait to go back! Hats off to all of the staff at this well managed location. As a former server I could tell they were all happy to work there, which makes a world of difference. THANK YOU!
R	Rob Tremblay on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just enjoyed an incredible dining experience. From the moment we were greeted to the moment we received our bill, we felt very appreciated. Our server, Amanda, provided outstanding service and made us feel so at home. I enjoyed the brisket sandwich with fries and my wife had the trout sandwich with sweet potato soup. All the food was fresh, hot and extremely flavourful. We will be back again!

Called them up before we left and was told the place was absolutely packed and there would be no tables even by the time we would reach, ie, 45 minutes, and no point waiting either. Anyways when we reached there, the place wasn't busy at all and we were immediately seated. Sounds like a disgruntled employee or someone just having a bad day; both bad for business. We were seated "behind" the main dining area. It was drab. Wish they'd constructed the wall along the beer brewing machines with glass windows to give the place some life. The food, drinks and service were great. Wide selection of fresh beer on tap. Had the wings with red ale bbq. The brisket sandwiches were loaded. The fried chicken sandwich was really good too. The onion rings and fries were amazing; so crunchy. Their house-made aioili is noteworthy. Will definitely be stopping by again when in Bracebridge.

M	Mike Plesko on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of Lake of Bays two brewpubs in the region. A spot with tasty food, that comes in very generous portions. Most of our meal came back home with us tonight for a later snack. Spinach and cheese dip came with pitas that I believed were deep fried, but still soft in the middle. Made for a good transport for the dip. Pulled pork addition on the Mac and Cheese was a very generous serving that made for a tasty meal. Brisket was flavourful, and great with the au jus. The maple aioli with the onion rings was flavourful and not overly sweet. Fish tacos were the highlight of the meal. Blackened rainbow trout was done exceptionally well, the grilled tortillas added good flavour and the house hot sauce bumped this part of the meal up perfectly. Busy on a Saturday night, but our wait was only about 10 minutes in April. Well worth the wait for a filling and enjoyable meal. Take home beers made for a great way to ensure the evening was covered.

Overall everything was on point and delicious without a doubt everything tasted fresh, beers were cold, service was great and attentive. Lots of menu selection and portions are big but there’s nothing to complain about! We will definitely be back!
