Hands down the best doggy daycare that I've been to! I've been bringing my dog for the past year and have nothing but positive experiences. The entire staff has been extremely helpful and professional and my dog is always excited to come! I highly recommend The Original Doghouse to anybody looking for a structured daycare for their dogs!

These guys work miracles! Our dog, Dobby, had VERY SEVERE anxiety and separation anxiety likely driven by some trauma in his past before we adopted him. We had him for over a year before taking him to the Original Doghouse and still had been unable to leave him at home alone, even for a few minutes, without him crying, barking, howling, having accidents... going into a full on panic attack. We tried another trainer in the past as well without success and had been told that the only way to fix a behaviour this severe was 4 weeks of board and train. We couldn't afford to do this so have been using dog babysitters over the past year. After only a couple of months of Dobby working with Eddy and the other staff once a week, he's now been able to be left alone with them for up to 2 hours and up to 40 minutes (and continuing to climb) at home so far. No barking, crying, or accidents which we thought would be impossible to ever achieve. He's showed overall improvements in his obedience/other behaviours as well. Additionally, Eddy did a great job communicating with us, sending updates, providing coaching for us etc. and it's evident how much he truly cares about helping the dogs he works with vs just thinking about it as a business. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES!!!

We found TODH a couple of months ago while searching for somebody to take care of our dogs during a trip. Our dogs are small, but they were presenting some aggressive behaviour; they could not stand to be close to other dogs, and we were terrified when one of them tried to bite a person at home—that moment, we noticed that we could not have any person to take care of our boys. So we called TODH, and Eddie was very attentive and gave us all the guidance we needed. We took them to the behaviour modification training and boarding for 3 weeks. When we came back, the difference in their behaviours was visible; they were calm, accepting "no" as an answer, and all the things we could not do ourselves. The best part is that now we can have our bed for ourselves; they now sleep on their bed, which is impressive. Our dogs still need improvement, that's why we decide to continue taking them to the daycare twice a week, and it is so nice to see how they feel comfortable with other dogs around. We definitely recommend The Original Dog House if you have trouble with dog behaviour.

The team of The original Doghouse are beyond exceptional, especially Eddie. He took care of my little dog for almost 3 weeks to treat her aggression with people and dogs. When she came back home, she was a different dog.We definitely noticed that she seems a lot more comfortable and gives off a more confident energy. We highly reccomend The Original Doghouse without hesitation!!!!!

The Original Dog House is a place that truly cares about the well-being of both you and your dog. I started my puppy there at 3 months in both daycare and obedience training. The staff ensures a comfortable environment and my dog is always happy to go! I recommend this dog day care for anyone that wants a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment for you and your dog.

I have been bringing my girl Chili to The Original Doghouse for roughly two months, twice a week for daycare and basic obedience. My girl was 16 weeks old at the time, very stubborn and very dominate for her age which was concerning us. She had zero leash manners, and listened to commands on her own terms, often straight up ignoring both my partner and I. We voiced our concerns and we were quickly educated as to why she was displaying those behaviors and laid out a curriculum for her to reach our goal. After the first day of daycare we knew we were going to keep her enrolled at TODH. The staff identified traits that we also observed on our own but didn't know the meaning of. This confirmed to us that there are infact trained professionals working with the dogs and is not just an ordinary drop-off-your-dog-and-forget-it daycare. She came home calm and slept like a champ! Total 180° change in just a day! In just 6 consecutive days (!) Chili was was not only playing nicely with other dogs, (even bigger than herself) her loose leash walking dramatically improved, even heeling and giving eye contact. She now understands we are the providers, and is looking for us for guidance. We are very pleased and pleasantly surprised by how fast she reached this level, and it's all thanks to the team at TODH. She is still improving daily! Chili still attends daycare twice a week and we are looking forward to working with the team for the foreseeable future. We would hands down recommend anybody with a dog who needs attention or behavior modification to the team at TODH. The team is wonderful, they treat your dog like their own, use training methods that work, and have great customer service. Can't say enough!

The team at The Original Dog House is amazing! I started my puppy there at 4 months for both daycare and obedience training. As a new dog owner I really wanted to socialize my puppy the right way and in a comfortable environment and The Original Dog House does just that! There is supervised play time and my little guy loves going to daycare. At pick up Eddie and Emily have been great at providing me with updates of my dog's day and you can tell that they really care about the well being of your dog. I highly recommend The Original Dog House if you are looking for a great, friendly environment that is safe for your puppy to create new friends.

I researched a number of different daycares prior to happily discovering The Original Dog House. My hope was to find a place that would provide both a safe and caring environment for our sweet girl to socialize while also support us in her training. We are forever grateful to Eddie and Emily who from the start have provided us the guidance and structure to support our pup and us! Our sweet rescue had some behaviours that we were struggling with including leash pulling, reactivity and needing proper socialization. From the first meeting Eddie and Emily exceeded our expectations. It is clear they have extensive training and experience and are passionate about their commitment to wanting to support both the dogs and their families. The structured socialization through the daycare and the training they have provided both at the daycare and in individual sessions has made a significant difference to our pup. They have taught both her and us a better understanding of her behaviours which has supported us in being proactive and helping her in correcting. The difference this has made is incredible! She is much happier, calmer and loves her pals at daycare! Eddie has helped us re-create this environment for her at home as well. We are very grateful to Eddie and Emily and the other staff at The Original Doghouse for offering a wonderful and supportive daycare and training for our pup.
