About The Mustang Shop

The Mustang Shop has been in operation in Calgary for over 30 years serving the needs of the Mustang community. What started out as a one-man operation located in a 750-square foot bay in the Marda Loop area of Calgary, Alberta has steadily grown over the years. Since then, we have moved 4 times ending up in our current 8,000 square feet location in Calgary's South East and have become Canada’s largest Mustang Parts Dealer. Our product line has expanded greatly with over 25,000 parts from over 300 vendors offering top of the line performance and restoration parts. Having a large inventory in-house, our customers can order the parts they need and have them shipped anywhere in Canada within a few days or overnight if they need it.

Our staff are passionate enthusiasts and are actively involved in all aspects of the Mustang hobby. We currently employ 7 full time employees who can assist you with anything from sales and shipping to those hard to answer tech questions. Whether it be a tie rod or a complete drivetrain modification, we have the knowledge and resources to assist you in completing your project.

The only negative I have with them is the that they use FedEx for their delivery. The are the absolute worst to deal with and lie about trying to deliver.

Ordered parts last year from them waited 2 months to receive parts and they still didn't deliver full order !! Now emailed them twice in 2 months about parts nobody ever emailed back or called back , very poor customer service rather buy it all from states then wait for these jokers to phone back or email !! Stay away from this place

These guys are Great .. I have made several orders over the last couple of years. Ranging from $ 50.00 to one order of $ 5,000.00 If there is ever an issue on the condition of a part arriving that is not perfect it has been replaced no hassle and no cost to me. This has only happened twice and was immediately dealt with. As for finding difficult parts or were info is sketchy. Staff has worked with me to figure out the problem and get the part ordered . If they don't stock it they tell me where I can get it. Not all parts come up in searches. So best to get on the phone and call. If you see a part listed on another site that you need. Just ask and they may carry it or will order it. When restoring a car you have three options on parts. Refurbish , Rechrome and Replace in that order. When you can't get a part back up to at least a 9 out of 10 then I replace it.. When I replace a part I rely on Mustang Shop's people to inform me if the part I'm ordering is good enough to go in the car. They have always been honest.. If the part is not up to snuff then the NOS route is an option. But you can save a lot of money by listening to their advice.. The restoration of my 67 F/B would of been a lot harder without these people.

Placed an order on April 19 (over 2k in parts). I am looking for a ship date but have had no response to multiple email requests and the phones do not go through. I'm not even sure if they are still in business. Anyone have any insite?

Been trying to get ahold of these guys for a week now. Phone is constantly busy, no where to leave voicemail. And when I do get through I’m waiting for well over an hour and end up giving up. This has happened multiple times already.

The wait time to speak to someone there is beyond terrible. I think that they only have one employee answering the phone. I waited over 20 minutes and I was caller #2. You would think if they wanted more sales, they would have more staff. This was the third time that this happened. ?

I'm a well know individual in the mustang building/restoration scene and have used many companies over the years, I rarely run across bad companies but when I do I usually give them enough time to correct there mistakes and if they don't I make it public. This is company is one of the bad ones, I placed 2 orders on December 6th and never received them, tried contacting by phone and email for a refund but no response. I contacted the manufacturer and explained the issue and they sold the items to me direct at a discounted rate and they arrived a week later. Very frustrating as now I have to do a visa chargeback.

I love this place. Easy to deal with they know their stuff. down fall they are so busy can’t get to phone quick but that’s ok I just drive there pretty sweet not having to buy everything from online actually get to look at it before purchasing and can bring in parts to match it if needed.
