★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just received an email saying that Deafheaven's July 2020 show has been cancelled. In March 2021. I emailed MRG several times MONTHS ago asking for a refund and was denied, and now they're offering a credit to use for other shows when live music/public gatherings aren't happening again any time soon - what a great business model! /sarcasm

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After buying 4 tickets to the Bowie Celebration, there were multiple rechedulings due to Covid, which is understandable. Once the show was cancelled, it took multiple increasingly nasty inquiries from me to get my refund. Many are still waiting for refunds. Won't ever again buy any tickets for shows from this promoter.

If you google MRG Live google auto populates with "MRG Live refund" which should tell you everything you need to know about this company.

Ridiculous! Scam!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will NEVER buy event tickets through these guys again. It's literally been a month since they told us we'd be getting a refund for our cancelled NYE event and I'm STILL waiting. Trying to obtain an email response from them is futile too. Jesus christ.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanted to offset all the negative reviews with the positive experience I had with these folks. Had a pair of tickets for a show that ended up being rescheduled for a date my fiance and I couldn't attend. We missed the initial email due to my inbox's spam filter, and when we found out just a couple days before the event, we reached out to them about the issue. They refunded our tickets no problem, even with the short notice. My one criticism is that their contact information could be better displayed, as I'm unsure the contact form on their website is working. I got the email address from their phone voicemail message. That said, I'm of the impression this is a smaller group with limited staff, and they still resolved our issue promptly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company sells tickets to shows and then cancels the show a day or two before the scheduled night of the concert, and refuses to refund customers their money. In other words they steal from hard working young people in Vancouver. I myself have two jobs to make ends meet in this city. I wanted to have a fun night out. Instead someone still my $40 and the company refuses to communicate - I have asked for clarification around their refund and cancellation policy. I have reported them to the Local Media and Better Business Bureau and encourage others to do the same. I don't know the laws around this but think what they are doing might be some sort of fraud.
