★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately I will no longer be supporting this (what I thought was an awesome company) anymore. After staff (looked like the owner himself) came running outside when I was driving by and gave me the finger. I fly the Canadian flag which seems to be rubbing people the wrong way lately..
Regardless if this company agrees or disagrees with Canadians, to actually run out of your business wearing your apron and give my family the finger, with my children in the car watching? Absolutely disgusting. I have been supporting this new business since they reopened because I love mt community and small businesses. But to give my family the finger as we drive by? No thanks. Never again will I be back. You should be ashamed.
*update in reply to owners response in comments* a person ran out of your building, wearing an apron, yelling and giving us the finger. There is no mistake, and hopefully you can take this opportunity to talk to your management about this problem. Denying it happened fixes nothing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The River Cone is under new management as of 2021. Delicious, fresh handmade burgers with quality toppings! Try the affogato and fresh baked croissants among other new menu items.
Update: I challenge you to find a better chicken sandwich!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good breakfast options. The gentleman taking orders in the window had a contagious smile and our cook was lovely. If you're a dog lover, you'll also love their gentle dog that greets each customer! Can't recommend enough to anyone stopping through Minden

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to go with your family in the summer. Enjoy really good home made burgers and fries. Lots of outdoor seating close to the river, and a pirate ship for the children to enjoy.
I have been there a couple of times this summer, and the home made burgers are amongst the best in the area. For a family, I would suggest a large portion of fries, as there is enough for everyone.
This is a family run business and they take take real pride in their food and service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot say enough about the new management at the cone! The staff is always so friendly and greet you like your a friend coming for a visit!! They are always so accommodating and make sure your food is top notch and hot! Burgers and ice cream are better then any fast food place around and faster might I add!! My kids love going here and playing on the pirate ship play structure. We often drive 20 minutes just to visit this beautiful place on the river. Kids, teens and adults alike love this place! It a great place to meet up with friends and is such an asset to our community!! Welcome Monica and family with open arms! We’re so happy you’re here!!!!!

What a wonderful experience for me.
Very friendly and professional services from the owners.

Beautiful mini park for kids.
I was thrilled about the choice of hot sauce ? Monica put it next to my poutine, wow what a treat ?.
