โ โ โ โ โ never had a hotel that used physical keys. It was so close to the bar/liquor store, and had a nice vape shop across the street, good location if youre doing things in the area

โ โ โ โ โ The hotel is nice but would never go back because the customer service is horrid. Donโt expect the workers to be polite or take the guests serious. VERY dissatisfied! Would not recommend!!

โ โ โ โ โ I love staying at this Hotel. It's in a really awesome location in New West that is really nice. The staff are super on point & the rooms are always clean. I havn't tried the food yet but sports bar food is always good. Thanks!

โ โ โ โ โ Was much nicer than I expected. Was right next to sky train station but we did not notice the trains. Bed was comfortable, staff friendly, even having to pay for parking it was much more affordable then most of people the hotels we looked at.

โ โ โ โ โ We called and talked to someone at the front counter yesterday about bringing our cat she said no problem bringing your cat we have pet friendly rooms and will have to charge you an extra 10$ per night we said sure no problem and we left it at that. Apparently they had emailed us and said dogs only but the email also said pet friendly it didn't specify dog only. Won't use booking.com or use the met ever.

โ โ โ โ โ Came here with my girlfriend while we were on a road trip to Victoria to check out rentals last year, the service was amazing and they took very good care of us. We came back a couple months back to see a Billy Raffoul concert, and the front desk staff remembered us! The Met is a very clean, well-kept hotel, and for the price itโd be hard not to give it five stars. Parking in the lot across the street was nice, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly even during the heat wave! One downside is that youโre right next to a train station, but on the upside, it means you can get practically anywhere really, really easily. Iโve stayed in a couple hotels in Vancouver and even though itโs a bit out of the way, the Met will be getting my business for as long as it is there. Incredibly impressed with the quality at this price point.

โ โ โ โ โ I am a Lower Mainland area and I've been to the Met Pub multiple times. I planned to stop over on my way back from Thailand and stay with family but said family came down with Covid so I had to find a hotel.
I stayed at the Met for a couple of days, small hotel but the bed was very comfortable compared to the usual hard beds of Thailand. The hotel room was obviously an old room but everything was in good repair and some was even pretty new. Quite enjoyed the stay.
Couple of comments the hotel is older (dates back a 100 years or so) and small so it is quite unique. The area that is in, is not all that prepossessing but it is convenient right beside Skytrain.
The Met pub/bar food is decent and the drink prices are not outrageous. There's also a couple of other restaurants nearby including a Subway sandwich shop right outside the door.
I don't know what the other rooms are like but I feel i can recommend it easily.

โ โ โ โ โ Service is great, super friendly. Location seems a bit sketchy when you get there (closed businesses, homeless people sleeping next to the doorway, etc.) but itโs only about a block from the police station and there are a lot of great little spots to eat nearby. Parking is close but not in the building. Bed is comfy but the room itself is very basic but clean. Cheap and cheerful and right next to a train station so you are free to go anywhere in Vancouver.
