โ โ โ โ โ Positive: The service in the restaurant was excellent, friendly and courteous. The lounge though was inaccessible for our wheelchair. Negative: The tub in our room was huge, but we didn't use it because there were no grips to hold onto for safety. I am 72 and my wife is disabled. Safety is an important consideration! Also we found the phone difficult to use.

โ โ โ โ โ It sure felt like Christmas when we walked in at the Executive! What a delight that things are finally getting back to normal. We had a wonderful stay to say the least and how fortune we are that the restaurant was open. The food was great and the staff was marvellous. The young lady at the front desk Harveen was so kind. We had a few issues with flight information that we did not quite understand but she was able to explain them to us. She printed out our boarding passes and had them ready for us before we even got to the front desk. We will recommend this hotel to our family and friends visiting.

Today I met Jennifer, server extraordinnaire. She is an exceptional ambassador for the dining room. Outstanding service and attention to my request. Excellent breakfast; excellent service. 5 stars to the hotel - 6 stars to Jennifer.

โ โ โ โ โ The hotel was nice but when we were outside loading our stuff the guy (staff of the hotel) taking out our stuff on the carrier like wth. We appreciate the help but you shouldnโt touch peopleโs personal belongings. I hope the management should teach their staff some respect. Not because we are leaving you will treat us like we didnโt pay our stay.

โ โ โ โ โ Rooms not as advertised. Not very clean. Phoned for guest services and room service and staff were unhelpful and rude. Pool is not exactly a roof top pool it the roof of the first floor. Also not well maintained or very clean. We ordered food from a local place and it was just left in the lobby. We ordered dessert from room service, cost almost $30 for 2 and it was disgusting. We gave a $5 tip, when we got our final bill the tip had been changed to almost $10. The only good thing I'd say was the bed was comfy. We probably will not come back.

โ โ โ โ โ We held a celebration of life in one of the banquet rooms last evening. Eric Lee orchestrated the entire event on very short notice. The room decor, amenities, and food surpassed our expectations. We are most appreciative for Penny who took care of our every need throughout the evening. Her demeanour and service made us all feel comfortable and cared for.
We would highly recommend The Executive Plaza Hotel in Coquitlam for any private dining occasion.

โ โ โ โ โ For how much $$$ you spend per night, you can definitely find better.
My sheets smelled like they were washed with a diaper full of pee. The elevator smelled like an old cigarette. I forgot my shampoo and conditioner, expected to have something decent here - nope, โconditioningโ shampoo, a dried out makeup towelette and bar of soap. No pen or paper to write with either.
Bed is comfy though.

โ โ โ โ โ I have had positive experiences in the past at other executive locations but this was not one of them. I had specifically booked a room that had a separate living space but when I got there i was switched to a single room. All my email confirmations confirmed that I had the room with the living space booked and I was never sent anything to suggest otherwise. I would have never booked the room if I knew it was a single and I may not be booking here again.
