★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me & my bf use to really love this place, they have a great selection for there products and a variety of different types of cannabis. We have been going here for a couple months now, I would consider us regulars and the one time I forgot my ID of course I explained to the girl I had forgot it at home but I did luckily have 2 pictures of Govt ID. She refused to take and explained it was against there policy, showed basically no sympathy for my situation at all. I get it was my fault for forgetting my ID at home but like I said I’m a regular customer here and I had 2 forms of govt ID pictures of the front & back and she refused to even look at them. I felt like she didn’t even really care about helping me honestly, after we called the manager was even MORE rude then the lady we spoke to before. Other then these 2 people that we interacted with today they have really great staff & pretty decent prices too. Just disappointed in this experience in particular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok so I have asthma and a mask exemption and was a regular here. I went in on Feb 7 around dinner. As we approached the display case, no one around, the manager on duty came right next to me and shoved a mask fairly close to my face saying "I'm going to have to ask you to wear one of these". I smiled politely and began "it's ok brother, I'm exempt, I'm here all..." He VERY RUDELY cut me off and said "THEN I'M GOING TO HAVE TO ASK YOU TO LEAVE" I tried telling him the same thing again and he cut me off with the same line again. As we were leaving he yelled after us "HAVE FUN". I REGULARLY spend my limit there and this USED to be a good review but your staff, who so far haven't had a problem, now have no problem treating others as less than human because of their virtue signalling values. I'm embarrassed for this store, I'm sure his work mate was embarrassed by his actions too. Who treats others like that unless they feel superior and that the other person as having less value. TO THAT EMPLOYEE: we might not see eye to eye on COVID but I know how I see every other human, as equal, you son, showed me your heart, and if that's what it's like on your side of the issue, I'll stay over here thanks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All staff have been very helpful. However, Kennedy has gone above and beyond regular customer service duties. She’s friendly, knows a lot about all of the store’s product’s and takes time to get to know her clients/customers/patients needs and wants.
I came in complaining about a box of expensive latex gloves I purchased and we joked around and she offered me a few pairs so I could return mine. She knows I am on disability and they cost the same as the bottle of CBD oil I regularly purchase. She is the type of employee that makes customers like myself coming back regularly. I want to stay loyal to this company because of her excellent service. She’s also fun to chat with when your day has been awful. Thanks Kennedy and The Local Cannabist!!♥️
