This sanctuary is a must see! My personal experience here was beyond words as I was soooo incredibly lucky to have they’re support and knowledge through my personal journey. This is something that I will forever charish. Lynn and David are the kindest most compassionate inspiring people. What they have is simply a piece of paradise with beautiful and unique creatures, and the fact that they are open to share this with the public is such a great opportunity for all people. So make sure to check them out if you’re in the area, or at the least, donate as places like this MUST be able to continue what they are doing. Eternally grateful for all that you do❤️

We had a beautiful afternoon visiting the llamas and alpacas! Lynne and David were amazing, they told is all about the backstories of the animals and answered any questions we had, we even got to feed most of them too! Can't recommend enough !

Well I have to say that my visit to the Sanctuary was amazing. What a wonderful place. The knowledge and passion of the owners and caretakers makes this experience one of a kind. As soon as you get to the property, the stress fades away and you can't help but smile. These beautiful animals are so unique and fascinating. I will definitely be back and share my experience with as many people as I can. Looking forward to volunteering . Thank you for this awesome experience.

If you haven't been to The Llama Sanctuary yet please go! You won't be disappointed. Lynne and David are amazingly kind people and are so knowledgeable. The Llama's are unbelievably friendly and were very gentle with my son. This place is a hidden treasure and I will be returning as many times as I can ?

We had a wonderful visit with our family and friends to the Sanctuary. I really appreciated learning more about these sweet animals and found the homeopathy used with them very fascinating. Our daughter loves her crochet llama we picked up and was playing with it the whole evening. Thank you David and Lynne for all that you do! Highly recommend checking this place out!

This was such a great experience! We opted for a private visit with the llamas and alpacas as we unfortunately did not have enough time to experience the llama safari (which sounds pretty awesome!). They llamas and alpacas have lots of room to roam in fields however since we were short on time Lynne was kind enough to bring the llamas to the gated areas for us to interact with more closely. They are quirky, brilliant creatures and all have a story behind their placing at the Sanctuary. Lynne and David are wonderful individuals for the work and time spent caring for the llamas and alpacas- I suggest reading up on their story as to how they came about starting a sanctuary. Not only did we get to feed and pet the llamas and alpacas, but Lynne and David educated us as well. They also have a gift shop with hand knitted items made by Lynne, and there are themed activities for the kids (i.e. Easter egg hunt activity). They also explained to us that there are even more planned activities to experience the animals in the near coming future. All donations help to care for the llamas and alpacas. Visiting the llamas sanctuary is a must do if you're in the area or travelling through.

We took our 4yr old and 3 yr old grandkids to visit the Llamas and Alpacas on Mom's day and had a wonderful guide, Lynn, show us around and educate us on llama behaviour and health. She introduced us to some in her "Hospital" area that are being treated in special ways due to health issues. The kids got to feed the Llamas and Alpacas from a pail of cut carrots and apples. It was amazing how many were there and they loved coming right up to the kids and taking the treats without scaring them. It was wonderful. We bought a book about the farm so the kids can keep reminding themselves of the visit.

Can't say enough great things about this fantastic sanctuary! I already make it a point to visit the Turtle Valley Donkey Sanctuary nearby whenever I am in BC, but now I will make sure to pay a visit to The Llama Sanctuary each time as well! David gave us a wonderful tour around the premises, as well as a "llama search" through the grounds. It was so special meeting the different llama residents, and hearing their stories, some of which are quite incredible. I particularly enjoyed visiting Haven, who was recovering from a stroke, as well as becoming "special friends" with a gentleman llama named Toby, who took quite the liking to me. I am already making plans to come back next month! Thanks, David & Lynne!
