E	Erika Weissenborn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful school! I attended IHN's program after attending UBC for a Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition and Health. I loved the hands on aspect of IHN - I learned so much practical knowledge, as well as culinary skills that I still use daily.
S	Stevee McDade on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was enrolled in this program and was only able to complete 28hrs after a death in the family. If you are enrolling, please read the contract they have you sign VERY carefully. After completing only 28hrs (1 course/4 weeks), the school was entitled to retain 30% of my entire tuition and they did. They did not care about the circumstance. Therefore, for completing only 1 course, the school received over $2,000 from me in tuition. I have a diploma in dental hygiene and a degree in dental science from UBC. Until now, I have never heard of being charged for courses that were not completed.

I wanted to learn how to apply nutrition to real life and the holistic perspective of nutrition. The first day I was at IHN I was blown away by the amount of knowledge the teachers had. I thought I had a pretty good background in nutrition before joining the program but quickly realized there was so much information I did not know. I learned so much here and absolutely loved the atmosphere. Every class was filled with applicable knowledge. The teachers were so well educated on the subjects they were teaching and I felt like they really went out of their way to help you understand the material. It was not about memorizing information but rather actually understanding the knowledge and being able to apply it to real life. I am so grateful for this school and everything it has taught me. I highly recommend the program and have nothing but positive things to say about it!

The degree is not taken seriously like a dietetics degree. Keep that in mind before applying, its an expensive school ..

Coming from a background in dietetics I can say that the tools and knowledge I acquired during my studies there have helped not only in my personal life, but also in working with my clients in a more effective manner in which they can get good results by applying my recommendations not only in their diet but as well in their lifestyle.
