★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We headed to THE MOON AND BACK!
Today was the grand opening of this spot! You might remember them from their food truck, located at the @streeteatsmarket, but they’ve upgraded and their restaurant is on a whole new level!
Bring your spacesuit with you because this is the FIRST SPACE-THEMED RESTAURANT IN TORONTO and they’ve got Filipino fusion food that is out of this world! Can you honestly say you’ve had a blue, sparkly golden burger while being surrounded by moon crater walls under a starry ceiling? Me neither!
This is one spot worth checking out, not only for their awesome interior, but also for their silogs, loaded fries, burgers, bbq chicken, steak, and much more. Vegan options are available and the food here is halal too

I really love their twist on traditional Filipino food that I was so accustomed to eating growing up! It takes me back to my childhood but it’s also something new for me. It’s fun and delicious, and I would especially return for their silogs because theirs are bomb!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was truly a disappointment for me and my family when we visited, since we were so hyped about this place from the pictures in insta and the reviews seemed amazing too. The burgers were not made of the blue dough which is one of their selling points. The prices are way hiked up! We were not made aware of the no blue dough burgers until our food arrived on the table.
The silogs were pretty ok but again portion size is way smaller for the price point. I would say may be focus more on the silogs cause people would love to come back for that with the right price. The burgers were not good - too oily, too much onions, and barely any sauce or cheese. The reality vs the insta pics are totally deceptive. I gave one star cause the server was very good and the for the silog’s taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love to see businesses grow and reaching new heights! I first tried The Hungry Moon at their food truck located at Street Eats, and adored their Filipino inspired fares (they even have vegan options!) ?
They recently opened their very own restaurant and I had a wonderful opportunity to visit their grand opening! The interior transports you into the galaxy with their moon textured wall, and space themed menu items ? ?
They have a points card system as well, and every order will get you closer to a free meal! ? If you want to travel into space, be sure to come visit this fun restaurant! ?

We can not stop staring at the beautiful walls and surroundings of the restaurant. The beautifully crafted and environment-friendly Filipino fusion meals are unique and mind-blowing. The portions are huge and taste fantastic. They have veg and vegan options available. Everything is Halal.
Faye and her team prepare everything fresh. Therefore, if you have any dietary restrictions please let them know in advance.
I strongly believe that there’s nothing in space that can hinder the progress and success of this amazing business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So, I finally had an opportunity to try this place and I am satisfied(kept wanting to try the food truck). I was a little worried about portion size, when I looked at pictures online, they seemed small. But pictures don't do it justice, I was thoroughly satisfied and I think the portions are generous. Not only are the portions generous, but the presentation is nice, and the taste-- More flavorful than I expected, especially the Chick Silog! And I like how the burger is packaged with the top bun off. It stopped my burger from getting soggy or squished. So tasty! I think this place may become a regular takeout spot for me. Would highly recommend, my family was jealous that they didn't order from there too >:3c

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been eyeing The Hungry Moon since their food truck days but I never had the chance to go and give it a try. I’m so glad that they finally opened their restaurant. The restaurant itself is "out of this world". I really love the space theme they have. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered Orion's Belt and my bf ordered Tap-Silog and they did not disappoint!
I cannot wait to come back and try out their other dishes :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING!!! my husband and daughter picked up our Friday night dinner and were met with very kind service and even added an extra order of fries that we forgot.
All of it, and I mean all of it was amazing!!!! Our order: spring rolls, garlic fried rice, big dipper fries (spicy but sooo good!!!), millennial falcon, OG meteor and space invader. This was much more than our family of 4 needed, but we love left overs for a quick meal on the weekends. We will certainly be back and raving about it to anyone that will hear.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So glad they opened up a restaurant! I loved their galaxy themed food truck and their store is even more amazing. The wall is moon textured and painted with stars everywhere.
Their food is really good too, even better than I remembered! All the flavours work incredibly well together and honestly I couldn’t stop eating.
Can’t wait to come back again! Worth the drive to come here!
