It only got 1 star because there was no ZERO or lower choice! The rudest staff i have ever dealt with. As an out of town contractor lead needing to buy wheelbarrows, wheelbarrows that ARE IN STOCK ACCORDING TO THEIR INVENTORY by more than 100, I was denied service by a member who locked the door, with a button in his apron, which accessed the wheelbarrows in the Garden Centre that opened when I approached it. I told him that an associate said that they would be in there and he told me "if they are out there, they are up in the air and I am NOT getting them down, the Garden Centre is closed" I explained that we needed them for the foundation we were working on and he again repeated that "the Garden Centre was closed and I am unable to buy any here" I was baffled! The website confirmed inventory(as it does today, see the image). The Property Maintenance company I lead for, regularly uses HD in Peterborough(our CC is on file with them). I'm a customer. They're a retailer.......WHATS THE PROBLEM!!!! I will NEVER use this particular franchise and hope that someone with some common sense takes the proper actions against this RUDE employee. Thursday November 4th taller, thinner male employee! *** UPDATE*** Home Depot addressed the problem, corrected the problem and satisfied my displeasure.

Beyond poor service. I purchased a jacket as a birthday online for my brother to pick up because I live out of town. It showed in stock. So I suprised him and havd him drive 20 minutes to the store. When he shows up, they say the only model they have is a floor model worn by hundreds of people. So I call back and ask if they can order one in. They tell me no. I have to refund it and re order it to be shipped to the store. But the refund takes multiple days to receive. Now it's December I don't think I need to say that personal funds are pre allocated for the holiday season. So all in all very poor expierence. I get my brother to drive 20 minutes in the cold on his birthday for disappointment. I will be purchasing my items elsewhere from now on. I own a business and am a frequent shopper at home depot. Not anymore if I don't have to.

Wonderful customer service by Mark and a lady with him at your store on Sunday November 7th. We came in to purchase a snow blower. Mark helped us understand what’s best for us and explained us benefits and features of the snow blower we bought! We are picking up the product on Sunday and we would like thank your team for being awesome!!! Not to forget Stella (Cashier) who helped us at the check out! Thanks for your excellent customer service as well! You deserve a high five!!!

At their best this can be a really good location. I've experienced exemplary service and a well cleaned and organized store. However I cannot ignore that there has also been a number of times where I encountered difficulties finding employees. Unattended stations like paint and customer service. Even on the floor it can be difficult to find someone to assist you. Not a bad store but if you're unlucky and in a hurry it could cost you.

To be honest I used to really like Home Depot, and within the last few months I’ve spent thousands of dollars there while renovating. Up until recently I would recommend it to anyone but with the difficulty and absolute disrespect I’ve had since ordering a stove I would no longer recommend it. Home Depot has the capability to change my opinion again, I don’t hold grudges but they need to reach out and make it right. I’ve ordered a stove which said it would take a week and be delivered April 1st. I didn’t receive a call or an email or anything, it just didn’t show up. So I re ordered it not thinking too much of it. This time it’s about 2 weeks till delivery on April 16th. Again, no call, no stove, nothing. I still have the page open on my computer for proof that I had ordered it as well. Finally I go into my local store and fill them in. I knew it wasn’t their fault so again, I re order the stove IN STORE, the delivery date was April 22, it’s only the 26th now but I still DO NOT have the stove. Really has messed with my life because I don’t have working one to use. I totally understand delays with Covid going on but I expect to be in the loop especially when my order gets canceled for no reason and I wasn’t notified.

We go to this store to buy an outdoor shed and catering trolley. The inventory says there are 2 trolleys but after 1/2 hour the person can’t find them. Another person goes to look for them and finds them. We order that and a shed. Pay for the items as both are in the store. Delivery set for 3 days. The day before we get a call stating they don’t have the products!! We tell them we saw the products but they insist they don’t have them. Speak to a manager after much consternation. 1/2 h later they find them! Wow! Hard to believe the types of people they hire at THIS STORE. No apology after causing all this aggravation. Shop somewhere else as this store has employees that don’t know what they are doing! Really a sad statement on our society. No consequences for causing all this aggravation. Really quite pathetic! Should actually get ZERO STARS!!

I came by to check out your Christmas decor. I seen these adorable gnomes. Unfortunately they were sold out. Fortunately, I ran into Tina who checked all locations and the warehouse. Sold out! I asked for the display, I was graciously told no. I was checking out when Tina found me and said the manager would allow the sale of the display. Tina scaled a ladder and delivered these adorable gnomes to me at the checkout. Thanks Tina, my grandchildren will be thrilled. We all need a special Christmas this year. Merry Christmas and thank you for the exceptional service. I
