★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This might be one of the best restaurant I’ve been to in a while. The food is just fantastic, the chicken and soup is cooked to perfection. We order a bunch of new dishes to try and we are very pleased with the taste. My husband enjoyed every meal. Highly recommend the Himalayan it’s a must visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is honestly one of the best food and restaurants in my community. Everything from appetizer to the main dish is wonderfully presented and taste amazing. Our server was also friendly and recommended many new dishes to us that we never thought of eating. Its definitely worth a taste if you live in this area. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic Nepalese resturant. Most resturant in calgary have Indian flavor spice base but this resturant gives Nepali flavor. Not too much spices or little less...just the perfect. Pork Momo was the best, very juicy and flavorful. Chicken chowmin was totally awesome. Grilled poleko lamb had very nice smoky flavor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is very delicious, the price is reasonable, and the service is great! All waiters are super attentive! We tried medium spicy level and it was actually quite spicy (I'm confident to say I can eat very very spicy food). The Chiya black tea with spices are very exotic and tastes actually quite interesting and nice (Unlimited refill! What a nice place!) The Bhuteko Shrimp is very well balanced with eggplant tomato and onions. This is the first time I've ever try Nepali food and I love it. Would definitely visit again next time I'm in Clagary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great restaurant. Himalayan food is closed to Indian but it's not as spicy hot. The Indian food base is already hot, here you can choose to make it hot but by default it's not hot. It's very tasty and we tried everything. Grilled lamb was great, the curries were delicious, and the Momo's were there best. My favorites were the coconut naan and the eggplant dish. The desserts were great as well, would recommend the mango ice cream. The service was the bonus. Exceptional service to go with the great food makes this a must try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally decided to try this place, been living in the area for years now and have never been. I have been to several other similar cuisine restaurants to this and I was excited to see there take on dishes. My group and I ordered the Maccha Tareko appetizer to start, the fish was not bad, the sauce was unique, after that my Chai arrived, now the chai was not bad I just wish that it was a bit bigger, a few other v places give you an entire tea pot for the same price. As for the mains I ordered the poleko grill lamb with saffron rice and garlic Naan, my partner ordered the Dal Bhat lamb. My lamb dish was quite nice, the lamb was tender and well seasoned, the garlic Naan was also adequate but the amount was a bit less then what I was expecting, I found the saffron rice to be a bit mild. My partners dish had a variety of different flavors, the curry here isn't a spicy so if you prefer a more Tame curry this place is for you. I would say 3.5 stars, its not bad but for me it wasn't exceptional. Not sure I would go back.
