★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been shopping at this store for years. I purchased a $15 kitchen tool a week ago and took it back today to get it replaced. I grabbed the wrong receipt this morning by mistake as I have shopped there two weeks in a row driving from south Surrey to the store on E Hastings. However, if I had brought the correct receipt I would have only been given a store credit as I was informed that The Gourmet Warehouse has no “Satisfaction Guaranteed” policy. I was told I should come back again with the correct receipt. So be aware that if you buy something at this store and it falls apart after one use, which is what happened to me, too bad. I was told the general policy is that they don’t take returns. I personally will never shop at The Gourmet Warehouse again. I did stop by The Posh Pantry nearby for a couple items and will plan to visit my local Kitchen Therapy store for future kitchen needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store is so cool. There are so many cool kitchen gadgets and wonderful products. This is definitely a high end store but their are lots of great products for gifts or to outfit your kitchen.
I used the online ordering and pick up service it was really easy. I just parked in no frills because their parking was all full. Went to customer service gave my order #, showed my ID and was on my way. Really well done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing selection of items for the avid home cook or professional chef. I come here for niche spices, oils, vinegars, and various kitchen equipment. The prices are pretty fair and you can almost certainly find what you’re looking for that you couldn’t find in other stores.
The store can get pretty busy on weekend afternoons so i try to come in the mornings. Also their website is great for checking stock.
They’re also the only Vancouver cooking store i’ve found that carry compounds for molecular gastronomy techniques

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I need a piece of kitchen equipment I come here. From thermometers to knives to special gourmet items they have it all here. Well organized, staff is knowledgeable. Parking is in the back and never had a problem finding space. If you need a mortar and pestle or a special salt, they have it here all at reasonable prices.

There is everything you need and everything you didn’t know existed that you could use to help with your food preparation and presentation. The staff are very helpful and I’m amazed by how they can locate what you need in this hugely stocked store.
