★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On Nov 1, 2017 one of the drivers was driving on the complete opposite side of the road, ran our truck into the ditch, and drove away. When we called to complain to the city we were told they wouldn't do anything because it was a third party (Garbage Man) who did that area, and then the Garbage Man said that they would "talk to their driver." That does not get our truck out of the ditch. That does not explain the horrendous actions of driving away when someone may have been hurt. And it sure doesn't pay our tow bill. When we called them they tried to pass it off, though we confirmed with the city of Ardrossan that it was their tow. We sent them pictures of how their driver was on the other side of the road, and to date have not received any emails. If you have kids or drive in that area BE AWARE THAT THEY WON'T STOP AND WILL DRIVE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. Thank you Garbage Man for your lack of decency.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m so happy that we chose to switch from Strathcona County Garbage removal to The Garbage Man.
I’ve never had an issue with my garbage not getting picked up (unlike the county) my bins don’t get left or chucked in the middle of the road or in the ditch (unlike the county) and the prices are great too! I’d say better than the competition in fact!
The gentlemen who picks up our garbage is personable and easy to talk to. He even brought a treat for our dog!
I would never go back to using the county’s garbage removal services as long as The Garbage Man is available!

The company and its staff are professional, personal, clean and dependable, and the Bartha family are a great bunch to know. It also means a lot to my wife and I that supporting a local business is very important.

Garbage person would always put up by gate when windy- not anymore
But do strap lids back on so they don’t blow away
We have been using them for a number of years. We find their services reliable and financially friendly. If any questins about what we are putting out and if it is excepted, we can call and get a answer right away. The Garbage Man is a great service/company and we have recommended the company to family and friends.
