We are Drumheller’s original Fossil shop, serving the world’s fascination of the past for over 30 years.
Throughout history we have been on a quest to rediscover the past. To unlock the clues and riddles, and find the key to the way things were and how they changed. Fossils are one of the tools used to answer such questions and inspire the creative intellects which make us who we are.
Beautiful natural treasures, each unique with its own exciting story, and special link to the past. Fossils are great educational tools. We have an extensive and rare collection to complement the weekend hobbyist, to the most avid collector and museums.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An experience! Very neat little local store, and it is important to remember this fact; it is a local PRIVATELY OWNED! The lady is clearly very proud of her store, as she should be because it's great but she is protective of her place of work as there have allegedly been break-ins in the past (don't do that! It's rude and unnecessary). We had a great time chatting with her and all her merch appeared authentic, and very well priced! Was asked not to film the entire store due to theft, but you can take pictures of individual pieces if you like.
Really enjoyed this little store, 10/10 recommend!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable, we really enjoyed checking out all the fossils and rocks! My daughter wanted to try to crack her own geode, and he took the time to show her how to do it at home! Super kind! We found a ton of neat keepsakes.

My sons dream is to be a paleontologist. He's 9 years old and obsessed with fossils and dinosaurs. The man at this store was not only kind but very informative
He took the time to educate my child on the fossil piece he bought
He has so much knowledge
I'd love to go there again just to pick his brain. I'm sure he has wonderful stories about where he found some pieces or great stories behind some of his artifacts. It's worth checking out this store just to meet this wonderful man

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very authentic compared to the tourist traps elsewhere in town . The owner is very knowledgeable and genuine . Hands down the best collection in town. We (ME AND MY SON) visited today and bought a trilobite fossil pair , loved the purchase. He was very well informed and wrote the exact type of trilobite for us on the card. We look forward to visiting again for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is run by one of the nicest people I've met in a while. The place is small but has plenty of interesting specimens! From fossils big and small to dazzling stones, nothing disappointed.
If you find something on the shelf that you like but is a little out of your price range, you can ask and they'll be glad to show you similar specimens at a lower price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a perfect place to pick up authentic fossils and minerals. A must stop shop for anyone visiting Drumheller museum. The customer service was amazing. Got myself an amonite necklace, geode and mosasaur tooth. From low to high price points with wide variety and beautiful pieces.

A definite must visit if you're there The owner is amazing and so knowledgeable, I could've hear him speak about world, fossil and stones for hours and not get bored. Take a chance and visit it, you will definitely find amazing things to take from there. The shop has a vintage look and I was very impressed and taken aback. The products are amazing in quality and price but the owner is definitely a hidden gem in the shop too, if he's around, chat with him!
