Had a fantastic dinner tonight at Marc’s place. The rosemary lemon chicken on the skewer was delicious. It was absolutely mouthwatering. Our waitress Tamara provided fabulous service. Couldn’t of asked for anything more. Thank you.

Wow. We had dinner at Marc's tonight. All of our main courses were beautifully presented and delicious! Marc is known for wonderful desserts at Croque Monsieur, and he did not disappoint this evening. Prices are very reasonable for the excellent food.

Lots of tempting choices on the menu, we all had espetada — I had the grilled steak espetada — it was amazing — but the crème brûlée is the best I have ever eaten, I mean devoured, and I order it in every restaurant at which I eat and it’s on the menu.

We've been going to Marc's for their breakfast for a while and have never left disappointed. Perfect meals and perfect portions. We tried out their dinner service this evening and it's just as good, if not better than their breakfast. As a Drum local, I highly recommend that you grab a bite here.

2nd visit of 3 attempts to try this new restaurant so I’ll discuss both meals and our failed attempt to try breakfast again. My first visit was at 10am last week to try their breakfast menu. I ordered the eggs Benedict and my companion ordered the French toast. Well… even though our meal was served in under 15 minutes the hollandaise sauce had broke and the French toast was ice cold when delivered. I decided I was going to give them a redo as they were newly opened and probably just getting used to their rhythm in the kitchen. My second attempt was on Saturday with a diner who is also celiac. Unfortunately, their newly printed menus do not delineate gluten free, dairy free or vegetarian or vegan options (sigh… they know that’s the standard now in 2021… ). The server when asked was confused about gluten free for celiacs and said they could “probably “ do something. It did not instil confidence in my dining partner so we left. So I would stay to be wary if you have any dietary restrictions. I’ll pause now to talk about the interior. When you enter your immediately visually assaulted by a large garish pink painting of “Marc” putting finishing touches on a cake. The painting alludes to a restaurant with pastries, cakes, brunch etc. kind of what his other restaurant in town is in the genre (Au Croque Monsieur, ) maybe the painting is best suited there as the menu doesn’t reflect that reality, nor does the painting match the interior at all. This space was originally a failed Humpty’s, a failed seniors delivery meal service with some in dining and now Marc’s. There have been no Reno’s through these transitions over almost 8 years. Nothing is worn out but it is looking a little dated. I’ve been told the chef is a 20 year expat to Costa Rica whom has recently returned with “Latin cuisine experience”. I was excited to try something more in his wheelhouse with the tacos on the lunch menu. We ordered the tacos Al pastor and the chipotle beef. Again the order was cold when it arrived, even when brought out personally by the chef and not our server. The tacos came with pico de gallo, pickled onions and a odd tomato marinara type sauce on the side. The taco shells needed a little more time on the grill (minor issue,) the fillings were ok, the beef better than the pork but both a little bland for my tastes but cooked decently albeit cold when delivered. They were affordably priced at around $10 a plate for 3. I will try this restaurant again. I’m hoping the small issues I’ve seen with the food have to do with staffing, inexperience and just getting their feet under them hence the 3 star or average rating. The only major issue I see is a horribly mismatched painting that assails you and needs to go! I hope they do well in our small town and in that location. I’ve always said Drumheller needs tacos….

Kudos to Marc's Place. Luck took us to this restaurant's soft opening today. Totally delicious. I had the eggs benedict, which was perfectly cooked (hollandaise didn't separate at all - wish I could do that) and visually a treat for my eyes too. I appreciate the care and attention devoted to my breakfast. Our server, Anna was attentive and friendly without hovering. Will definitely go back.

Was in town for work and decided to get some breakfast before heading out. This place did not disappoint, it looks fresh and new from the outside and loved the atmosphere on the inside. I got the California Benny with bacon and it was fantastic. I loved the diced up avocado and tomato as opposed to sliced. Hash browns were delicious as well. Took the picture after I started cutting in, oups! I would definitely recommend and come back. Our waitress was super nice too!
